Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently shooting in London with Katrina for Yash Raj's next film, must be happy now. Not just for the recent IPL victory, but also that Gauri has resolved her temporary issues with Priyanka Chopra. It was being said that Gauri was not comfy with SRK and PC's growing chemistry. "Things are solved now. Jo thoda bahot issues Gauri had with PC have been sorted now. Right now, SRK is shooting abroad, but when he'll be back in mid-July, and will host parties, Priyanka will certainly be invited, and Gauri will have pictures clicked with her. There was some trouble, but all is well now," says a source close to the Khans.
But wasn't it because of the PC issue that Gauri didn't seem happy at all at SRK's IPL victory, given the not-so-excited expressions? "If you've ever noticed, Gauri has never been expressive in front of the camera. She's wary of showing her emotions when she knows shutterbugs are around. So, you'll hardly ever see her with any clear expression at any public place. She's expressive only with her family," clarifies the source.
And did the Wankhede controversy impact Khan's friendship with Riteish Deshmukh, going by the public speculations of a lifetime cold war? "Not at all. Riteish would visit SRK's home earlier and he visits them even now. The two handled the issue very simply – they never spoke about it to each other. Why would SRK discuss the unreasonable ban with a person who had nothing to do with it? Riteish had earlier done up SRK's office – as he's a qualified architect – and the two were in touch always," informs the source adding that Khan, with his family, will visit Gauri's uncle's home in Delhi next month once he's done with his shooting.
When Ranbir ignored Nargis
Ranbir Kapoor has already begun giving in Rockstar co-star Nargis Fakhri a royal snub.
Sources at a party hosted by Andre Timmins, one of the organisers of the event, at his penthouse suite in the hotel in Singapore (the actors are there for an international event) reveal that Ranbir looked right through her a number of times at the venue on Friday night.
Said one source, "Ranbir sauntered in a while after Nargis. When she heard of his arrival, she did look in his direction. She was in plain view but RK chose to ignore her. It seemed as if he just didn't want to interact with her. He preferred to be busy talking to others, while she was chatting with her friends."
Shahid, too, is said to be ignoring Nargis. Although he wasn't present at the party on Friday night, Shaks and Nargis haven't really bonded since his birthday party in Goa last year. Another source says, "Ranbir and Shahid have become good friends and often tease each other about their exes. But when it comes to Nargis, they don't say much because both were linked with her."
