Does our forum require regular Mods?

Friends I feel a big problem with our forum is that we do not have a dedicated Mod team. We have only one person from the DT who's shouldering all responsibilities of the forum.

There are issues of irrelevant threads, excessive spamming, arguments and such like on the forum. All these can be checked if we have a couple of mods. All new shows, which have launched after SMJ also have been given 2-3 mods, but our forum lacks one.

I agree that the show has been commissioned for a limited number of episodes only, but I anticipate that the after-currents will be felt for a long time to come and there are going to be intense discussions on the same.

My current fear is that tomorrow being a Sunday, we are again going to be inundated with spam threads from the ghouls.

Please share your opinion.

The first SEVEN pages are infected.

Our MOD is in her usual Rip Van Winkle MODE!!!

ya 1 spammer deeto10... has spammed almost 2-3 pages..

so v do need more mods..

I can see that someone has spammed the entire forum. Nadii is probably away...I have posted on the viewbie forum. Shruti will ban this member.😊

So once again threads reporting spammers are locked out and the threads by spammers are left as is, with only one spammer out of 3 being blocked, that too after raising much hue and cry.

Guys, well we all are humans so I dont think it can be expected that we are around 24/7. We have a life, its true that we have volunteerd moderating a forum, but that doesnt mean we need to be on 24/7. Just because 6 days of a week there is nothing much happening and suddenly one day a lot spamming and bashing goes around.

It does take time, so it will be good if the matter is reported and then we will check ASAP we get on
