She has got herself toned up for this role . From Ramoji Film Studio Hyderabad Drashti shared few things with us .
Q1 . What is unique about the character of Madhubala ?
Ans : She's a simpleton , ordinary girl , average student ! knows what she wants in life ! she wants to earn first and then marry ! but destiny holds a different plan for her and she becomes a film star ! this is what makes the plot interesting !
Q2 . Like Madhubala do you want be a filmstar too ?
Ans : I've not planned anything like that as of now ! I take life as it comes !
Q 3 .But still pple remember you as Geet ?
Ans : The character of Geet is very close to the audience so much so that they remember me as Geet ! I feel so happy when I get compliments that when Geet cries ... the fans cry with her !
Q4 . How did you prepare yourself for this role ?
Ans : I've toned up my body for this role ! post Geet I took a gap of four months , rested and I ended up being very lazy !
Q 5 . In these days local dialect and language shows are getting popular . If you get a chance would you try your hand at it ?
Ans : If I get a chance I would do shows in Bihari or Bhojpuri dialect . I know I'll have fun learning and speaking in these two .
Q6. Your name is unique ! who kept your name ?
Ans : My grandpa kept this name ! it means vision and I too like my name very much !
Q 7 . Where did you spend your days in Childhood ?
Ans : I'm born n brought up in Mumbai . Did my BA in Sociology in Mithibai College . I taught dance to kids at 1 point of time as well
Q 8 . What r your hobbies ?
Ans : I watch a lot of English movies . Action , Thriller , Serious and Comedy ---- I love films of all genres .
Q 9 . Favorite actor ?
Ans . Hrithik Roshan
Kareena Kapoor . Jab We Met is my favorite film . If u would ask me of my dream role its this one of Kareena in JWM !
Q 10 . Small screen favorite actor ?
Ans : Shweta Tiwari . She's a brilliant actress .
Q 11 . If you weren't an actress what would you've been doing now ?
Ans : Then I would have been a designer or would have been managing kids' nursery ! I love to experiment with attires . If in shows pple offer me certain look , its not that I would opt for the same or it would suit me coz I know which type of ensemble looks befitting on me ..
