Rani Padmavati comitted Jauhar to save her pride from Alawadin . A jauhar is when your husband goes to war when they have lost and your husband has died , to save you from rape or abuse you give your life up by jumping in the fire. Padmavati was definitely brave and it takes a lot of courage to do that.

ya I have read about it.

They have a certain tradition that if in war king loses battle and get killed and opponent takes over the kingdom in battle then royal woman in house jump in fire in order to save their honor.

Padmavati was indeed a great queen

But sadly most of shows of these kin don't get trps
