Christine, Of course they mean business. they are the BOSS and they call the shots. Anyway, I feel Giaa is at fault...as she did not follow the rules of the agreement. It is very important to read and understand the contract. Well, the bone of contention was she said she shoots for only 20 days so she can devote 10 days to JDJ but according to the contract she had to give 25 days to SNS. The problem was of 5 days and whole lot of egos. When we are young and starting out we just cannot afford to ruffle any feathers. Giaa also though that she is irreplaceable ( this I got from a media friend who works with Market research & data group). She ended with I'll dance come what may...so she made her choice I guess!!

We have pre nuptial😉 & NDA non-disclosure agreement and stuff so it very important to understand all the legalities. All the contracts comes with legal liabilities. We just cannot compare apples to oranges. Giaa is saying after 2/12 years I'm doing jhalak. Well why did u sign a contract for 3 years then!! You did it as you wanted to enter the industry. Now you cannot twist it according to your convenience. You have terms and conditions and you have to adhere to that as simple as that.

The boss isn't always "right" although their massive and fevered egos rarely allow them to admit this. This is my frustration at at my boss for making me work on the patent again 😛 . I may not love following my boss all the time but I still do stuff "their way"...just so I can gloat when something fails 😛😆

Hun, how can she do JDJ in 5 days. It will air 2 days in a week so one needs atleast 10 days & night shifts.
In IF interview or SbS somewhere Giaa has herself mentioned that I shoot for SNS 20 days out of 25 days of contract. So what was channel's problem? Well, the point is ...contract says your 25 days are for SNS...so shooting or no shooting is besides the point. I'm talking abt the legal aspect here. Legally contratully you are bound for 25 days so how can one create so much ruckus. If my boss clearly states that I cannot do certain things for the other group I'll not do period. And if I really want to follow my heart nobody can stop me I'll do what pleases me the best. Giaa followed her heart and Sp followed rules and showed her the door so who is at fault??
