I needed this normalcy and balance and I actually Loved tonight's episode...It was MUCH better than yesterdays at many levels and I actually had my "losing it" moment with Mr.Right this morning already...🤣 But wel let by gones be by gones and let right jump into today...

Yesterday was romantic, lovey dovey but at many levels a downer of a plot for many of us. Today Khushi picked herself up...just like we did and got on the move to find her Arnavji again...we on the other hand went to find our sanity which we found in the humor..😆...the goons have moved on and Khushi heads back to her Arnavji's home heart broken and with no one to share her joy of seeing him, fear of losing him and everything else in between. This character is growing on me now...she has her wild, childish side but she is maturing well. Good job creatives in maintaining her essence of a strong willed and independent souled girl. Love this! ⭐️

The scene between Manorama Detective and Buaji...OMG what a hilarious scene...Buaji goes oh I was just remembering you and Mami goes why and Buaji goes well actually I wasnt...I just told you for the sake of it...😆 Then the way Buaji called Mami a "Nautanki Mamiya" was 🤣 These characters are finally being used the way they should have always been...I like this...this makes it good...yes it was fun to watch this today!!!! 👏

Oh and incase anyone missed the Memo...Today the dress code for RM/Shantivan Asylum is PINK! Color of the day was everywhere except Naniji and Masala Mama who looked rather thin all of a sudden! 😆

As Mami is setting the stage to reveal it all about a misisng Arnav and Khushi...Khushi appears and there is relief on Mami's face...the scene was well executed today but then comes the dreaded call from the ManNappers and Khushi is left stunned and covers up for it by saying Arnavji called her yesterday and we get a little crying from Anjali which was almost a relief to watch...she is not the napper I am sure now...and there comes Shyam as usual the "prime suspect" for most in this man napping but nah I am not convinced on him yet! 😃

Manorama Bond and Khushi head back to Arnav and her room and have a heart to heart...And this is where I thought it was very well done...Mamiji questions Khushi like Arnav did and Khushi ran into Mamji's arms and HUG's her and i couldnt help but smile...this is SO similar to her HUG with Arnie in the hospital ...Mami hesitates to hug her then realizes shes broken and consoles her like Arnav did the other night...tells her relax and calm down and stop crying because she cannot take any more tears...and here SG's a bond is being made...yes itl be as strong a bond as Arnav and Khushi's and I love the fact that the creatives did this!!!! Totally brilliantly done! 👏👏👏

Akash and Payal walk into this upscale party or something and you know ladies the only thing that came to mind was what??? Bappi Lahiri and the shop of gold that he carries with him after I saw Payal there...🤣🤣🤣 This couple is so barfworthy...something needs to change...i dunno what but something does...Who drinks wine at a lunch event in India??? I dunno maybe i am conservative but these people are taking Talliness to another level girls!

Manorama Detective now understands Khushi...She cares and loves Khushi not because she loves Arnav but beause she knows that their bond is important for everyone and for her bringing them together is the most important thing right now. She consoles Khushi and tell's her to toughen up and take care of herself because she will take care of it all and everything will be normal. Plus she realizes Khushi is blaming herself for letting Arnav go back and right now this needs to stop .I love this conversation where Khushi is almost broken and Mamiji gather's her together and helps her understand the importance of her staying strong. She makes a promise that she will be there for her and will bring Arnav back home safe and sound.🤗

Khushi and me have some ESP going on...She realizes maybe she should have taken the Danda and WHACKED him on the head instead 🤣

And now onto the Anniversary Episode...my take...nothing much is going to happen...the promo will play out and NK will reappear and maybe Payal's Aashiq Aawara shows up and the party gets better 😆

Overall I enjoyed today and definitely what the doctor ordered for me and a good break from everything over the last few days. Congratulations CV's/Cast/Crew and the entire team of the show on your 1 year success and also the fact that today your story moved some as well! 😃 Here's hoping a few more years of your success and some good strong story telling for us 👍🏼

Song of the night...I debated a lot on this...But you know I am going a tad romantic on this one...again an oldie...from a forgotten movie from a long long long time ago but the words are very darling and remind me of what Khushi still has to say to Arnav when he does eventually return hopefully in this century 😉

I enjoyed todays episode too..
thought it was fast paced and built on yesterdays episode.

Also as mentioned by you, Maami is doing a great job. A compliment to the writer here too... loving how Maami's character is going from strength to strength and contributing to the story line.

Enjoying NKs return too, and hoping that his character too adds to the story like it did in the past... it was through him that the leads identified the jealously factor.. so lots of hope 😊

Mami ruled today and the Mami-Khushi bond was moving to watch. Khushi would have never expected to find an ally in Mami when she got married.

The episode begins with Mami worried and concerned that Khushi did not go to GH and neither she is responding to her cell phone. Her wondering if both Arnav and Khushi are in danger makes us firmly believe that Khushi does reside in Mami's heart and she will always lookout for her.

As soon as she sees Khushi, she instinctively goes near her and asks if she is ok. She supports Khushi in not divulging the truth to RM members even though she does not know it entirely. This leads me to belive that mami may know the truth about Shyam earlier than any other household member and will shield Anjali from it, by siding with A&K.

Khushi reveals the entire truth to mami who becomes her shoulder to cry on. Mami's expression's change when she comes to know that Arnav embraced danger just to save Khushi was well done by Uttaraksha. Khushi is wraught with sadness, guilt, despair and says that " she needs Arnav to be next to her here and safe". Sanaya portrayed the distress very well.

Mami comforts and consoles her and gives the right solution that now is not the time to cry but to face the challenge together. Uttaraksha rocked from her dialogue to Nani to her interactions with Khushi. 👏

Mami is definitely the first one in RM who will know the truth about the kidnappers along with Khushi. How she will keep quite after Arnav returns should be interesting to watch?

Musings for today : During the short detour from captivity, not once did Arnav ask about Anjali. Too many references to Khushi's dirty clothes today but mami saves the day, will let Veeps analyze it.

Finally a toast to the makers/actors and the entire team of IPK on their upcoming 1st anniversary tomorrow. Irrespective of how much ever we rave/rant we love IPK and thanks for introducing us to Arnav/Khushi, unique story line, Barun/Sanaya. Congrats again.🥳🥳🥳🥳

So, episode begins with Khushi alone at the hut with the earthen pot and the knowledge that he gave himself up to give her a chance to escape. She vows to brings him back and go look for him at the same place where they had been held together. She reaches there only to find the place empty but finds her purse and cell phone back. She thinks about calling the cops, but decides to go home first...but, of course, calling the cops would be too easy...

Meanbhiles, Maami is trying to call Phatti Saadi's phone and getting unabailables. She tries to brush it off , then decides Khushi has no 'dishipline" and calls GH to talk to her -- Gupta House not the other one. Buaji picks the phone and a round of nandkisor vs hello hi bye bye starts.😆

Maami realises that Khushi never made it to GH. The way maami handled buaji and Anjali , such that both didn't realise Khushi is missing...👏

Khushi finally decides to break the news to the family just to have Anjali go nuts...Anji, Anji, Anji...😡

A threathening phone call, Shyam walks in, and Anjali and Payal going to Khushi just as Shyam nears Khushi...very nicely staged. 👍🏼

Between the phone call and the over reacting Anjali, Khushi lies again and goes to her room.

Shyam -- Walks in just as the phone call ends, stops the Anjali over reaction, relief at Khushi's lies and then realisation that Maami is in with Khushi. Ohhh... things just got interesting!!

The scene between Khushi and Maami in her room was a real winner. She ribs Khushi for hiding things from her inbestigating partner, inviting her to confide and a helpless Khushi just hugs her and cries her heart out. Maami's flustering, then comforting her and then "isshe jyada tears hum handles nahi kar sakat hai" ... The presence of mind to close the door and then having Khushi sit and lay it all out, and Khushi tells all...well almost ... danda number 1 and then finding Arnie, the escape , *skip hugs*, the hut, *skip making out* , the goons finding them and danda number 2 and then finally the threathening phone call.

And then a very resolute "hum arnav bitwa ko le aaybe .. Jaroor le aaybe" with the quiet strength of "ee waqat aanso bahane ka naahi, khud ka take care karne ka hoi" and a promise to stand by her , fight with her to find Arnie.

Maami has come into her own and become a partner, a confidant, a shoulder to cry on and a strength for Khushi in this time of trial. Khushi has found the wind beneath her wings in the absence of Arnie.

Notes:

1) Utkarsha - Sanaya chemistry is absolutely rocking. Their timings, their feeding off each other during the scene is very evident. 👏

2) Payal pulling a maami to go to a corporate Party... yeah, that is going to end well.

3) Shyam now knows that maami is in with Khushi.

4) Precap: NK is back and I have a good feeling about this precap. This is going to be a good entry...

5) Now "spoilers" about a new hate track. I know you are going to hate me for this SGs, but I am all for it!! If it is a track just to get to terrace 360, then whatever. But if the track leads to Khushi walking out and an Arnie going to get her with "I am just a boy, standing in front of girl, asking her to love me" track, then all the more Devi Maiyya power to you!!

A hate track will also get the ASR mojo back for Barun who just does not have it anymore, the body language is gone, the dialoue delivery is gone. Yep, A hate track will bring it right back in. And honestly, I do not want a forever lovey dovey track, then remarriage, then consummation with unnecessary separation thrown in between for the sake of drama and then a couple of kids running around and an Arnie who is running behind them with "kitni baar kaha hai jab mein tumse baat kar raha hoon to munh mat phera karo". Yes, DO NOT want that...😲

So, if this is the CVs trying to get a response to a possible hate track, I say BRING IT ON!!!

The Manorama and Khushi duo continue to be a hit, I loved their scenes today. In a short time, these two have bonded and its been an absolute treat to watch!

As if Manorama wasn't worried enough about Khushi despite initially believing she's at the GH, that worry only increased after learning she never arrived. Manorama became so worried that she was all set to tell the family the truth fearing both Arnav and Khushi were in danger. I loved how relieved she was to see Khushi and how she supported her despite knowing she was lying, this will all be essential when the truth about Shyam comes out. Manorama being sharp will know he's the villain who decieved two families, she will know Khushi and Arnav's reasons for keeping quiet especially based on Anjali's reaction as soon as she senses even a hint of something bad happening.

I expected Khushi to break down in Manorama's arms and she did just that, I felt for Khushi and its good that there is someone she can share her pain with. Manorama offers comfort in her own way and becomes Khushi's strength in this battle, not to fear when Manorama is here. Manorama will indeed protect Khushi and Arnav, she won't let harm come to them.

So the precap is really NK who is making his return earlier than I thought which is great because I've missed him and I'm sure he'll be of help to Manorama and Khushi. From what I watched in SBS and SBB, it doesn't look like NK will know the truth right away but he definately sensed something was bothering Khushi.

A good epi which seemed to take the story slowly forward with Mami in the know, the unlikely but endearing Mami Khushi Jodi set to plot Arnav's rescue and the precap setting the stage for the return of NK.

Anjali and the others continue to stay oblivious of Arnav's troubles though I felt Nani seemed to think everything was not hunky dory esp since Mano even checking on Khushi was totally out of character.

Mercifully Anjali's scene was kept brief; I don't think anyone is in the mood for her histrionics

Love the determined Khushi who has the one track mission to track her pati. And she is going to be ably supported by Mami.

Mami you are currently the most endearing side character around. She has witnessed Khushi's desperation and love for Arnavji and will prove to be a key defender when K's in trouble with family which has to happen.

Loved how Khushi broke down and hugged Mami. The woman with the heart of gold comprehending her pain while trying to pretend being unaffected. She is the one who asks Khushi to be strong and not let emotions dull her mind. Fierce love shining through for Arnav Bitua- brilliantly enacted Utkarshaji!!

I'm happy that NK will be back. He would be a good ally plus it's a bit worrying to see K trying to do everything by herself incl going back to the goons hideout.

Is Shyam not the kidnapper? Seriously?? Coz I feel we are being bopped on the head with clues and indications to prove this. If it's only to send us on the wrong chase I'd say CVs you don't need to try so hard. We are already working our minds hard to suss out that zabardast twist and suspect everyone in SV with the exception of Payal. And she cannot be it- even you know it's not worth it!

OK SGs...here is what I have to say...

Whose genes does Akash bituwa have? How come the guy has not realized that Arnie has not reached London for his meetings...? There is no talk at the office about him MIA... ?

Payal...OMG...does she have to play dumb in every single track writtenf or her?

Anj...Seriously? Can she have a conversation without freaking out?

and Mami...OK she was the star today...ab sochne wali baat ye hei ki ...of all the people Khushi could confide in...they have chosen her...Hmmm...I wonder why?

and Finally...no Arnie ...my interest already took a nose dive...Did some one say today was better than yesterday...? No way Jose...I will skip 50 episodes like the one today but not the one like yesterdays...

Thats my story and I am sticking to it...😃

Hey SG's - feels good to be back with the regular Take 5 after Monday's kumbaya moment! 😈😈😈😈

As I got down to writing this after watching today's epi - I was a little apprehensive that my inner jerk may have bolted after yesterday. But one look at dear Anj going "Chotey?" - and the snark was back - chomping at the bit like a Kentucky thoroughbred at the Derby starting gate.

All izz well! 🤗

1. Arnavji - you may bash me on the head, but I WILL get you back. Khushi (still ) Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada makes a pledge to herself. The multiple bops on the old coconut appear to have loosened the brain cells - so she goes back - ALONE - to the hideout where Arnie was being held.

But no Arnie peeking out of the fake grill this time - and all she finds are her purse and phone.(Girl - go check the movie sets if you really want to fulfill that promise. Drag him back by that hair you love to pull - we'll thank you for it! 👍🏼)

Should she go to the police? Nah - she's worried about the clueless hordes, so decides to head for home and Detective Mami. Speaking of Mami...

2. ...KSR hasn't called, and Double-oh-Mami smells a king-sized rat. A quick call to GH, and Buaji's chatter reveals that Phattee Saree never reached the maternity home. While Mami's still reeling from that shock - dear Anj sidles up..where is Khushi-jee?

But the Raizadas-by-marriage are made of sterner stuff than the Raizadas-by-birth. Mami Baand succesfully manages to distract both Anj and Buaji while she tries to figure the whole mess out. It's time to break the news to the clueless family that two of its members are MIA.

3. Saasuma - be serious pleej! (Mami probably waited all her life to deliver THAT put down).Just as she's about to break the news - Phattee Saree shows up clad in phattee red salwar.Now they're both ready to bring the family up to speed, when Mysterious Caller informs them to"LIE! Or Arnie will DIE." *cue background music*

CV's - I have to pause here to ask - what is the point of the existence of Masala Mama? I don't mean the actor - I'm sure he's a person of sterling qualities and upstanding character. But his existence on this show contributes ZIP. Nada. Nothing. Even Bubbles (bride of Chucky) actually had a track, however misguided. This character just eats frame space - and going by that size...a lot of it.

I *really* don't need to see that Free Willy smile for every breathless development, so if there is a point to him - please reveal it soon. If not - well, viewers are simpleminded folks with advanced gadgetry at their disposal, and we'll just keep blitzing past him everytime he shows up onscreen.

4. Back to masale ki baat - some fancy footwork by KSR to avoid high-strung questioning from Anj 😡 about an insensitive "Choteeey" who never calls his Di, and KSR rushes up to Grand Central - otherwise known as her room.

But Mami follows - something is UP and she wants answers. I love how the mami-Khushi bond is being slowly strengthened - the impulsive HUG, the complete lack of hesitation before telling Mami everything (well, almost everything. Hopefully she was judicious in editing what happened before the 'nappers showed up) 😉

"I should have done something to save him, maybe whacked HIM on the head!" That's the old Khushi (still) Kumari Gupta (now Singh Raizada) talking, the one who doesn't take things lying down. And now she has help - a determined Mami is a dangerous Mami. 👏

5. Payash. I was wondering if I should devote a whole Take to them ( I only have 5! 😛), since this was so obviously another attempt to get a parallel trouble-in-paradise track going. What's next - she spills wine on the other guy's wife while dancing a boogie on the luncheon table? Woman - dropping hors-d'oeuvres isn't a criminal offense. Really. Trust me - I've done it, and no one ever looked at me like I needed to be locked up.

Precap. All hail the return of Nanhe the Hindi butcher. Hopefully - he's back to help Khushi-jee, not move in on her while Nannav is Sukhi.

So we stopped at the Sarun oasis for a few blissful days, but were rudely ushered on before drinking our fill. Another long 3 week trek looms across the dry, arid desert before we reach the promised land of BS's permanent return...until the next time one half of this magical pair takes off.

I wonder what they're showing on National Geographic these days? 😳 😳 😳
