Sorry, I can't agree with you. This forgiving nature of Gopi is what makes her unique. If she yells at Anita, she will not be Gopi and we won't be able to take that Gopi.

Gopi is behaving true to her character. Can you really imagine her slapping anyone? If she had slapped Anita, we would all be discussing how unreal it looked for Gopi.

Gopi never sees anything bad in anyone and she never thought Anita was bad. She feels pity for her because Anita is an orphan just like her and Anita just lost Ahemji. It's only Gopi who can feel and understand Anita's pain because Gopi has suffered for Ahemji's love. Although Gopi can never act selfishly like Anita, but she can see how much the girl has lost.

On top of that I feel Gopi is still in shock over almost losing Ahemji. At this point shouting at Anita or slapping her just doesn't fit with her character or in these circumstances.

And to add there are many woman in this world who forgive and forget easily and a think gopi is one of them she dodnt hold grudges against anyone
