Does anybody know how old Vikram is? Is he married? There appears to be no indication that he is married? If not, why not, given his age?
I don't go for hot bods and hot leads. But i feel going by the story of Thakurs and Bednis - it would not be good to pair them off. Perhaps he will marry her then it will give some semblance of respect to Sugni. But nonetheless even if he marries her, i suspect she will never get the respect of society - they would just say that she attracted an older man to get a meal-ticket for life.
i would prefer Sugni to make good her dream to survive without following the bedni's tradition. To perhaps start her own business or whatever - she must first get the respect of society as an independent woman - she must be the hope for all girls to break the cycle of being a plaything for thakurs. My take is a person must do what one is suitable for where possible. If a bedni girl likes the life of being a toy for the thakurs - then fine - so be it - let her be one. But if she does not like it, she must not be forced into it. Here is where Sugni will show the bednis that there is more to just serving the thakurs.
I want Sugni to strike out on her own - to be her own woman. If she pairs off with Vikram now - she will be an old man's darling - and she will always look to him as a saviour and be beholden to him.
I also think Sugni - the sweet young thing - deserves someone a little younger - not as young as her perhaps but not as old as vikram Like i asked earlier how old is Vickram?
