CHAPTER 11

There was a knock on Arnav's door. He shut his laptop and went to open the door.

Khushi walked into the room with full authority as Arnav observed her.

"Arnav did you have your medicine yesterday???"

"No, I was busy with the function and I diidnt get time to."

"WOW no wonder you lost your balance..And today???"

"No"

"Not again Arnav you are not a small kid who needs to be reminded about all these..!!! when will you start taking care of yourself???"

"I dont need to"

"what??"

" I said I dont need to take care of myself when you are there for me"

Khushi felt embarassed but she did not show it on her face.

"Actually I'm not concerned about you, infact my brother told me thatyou need to take your medicines on time and asked me to remind you. Thats came over. So now have your medicine"

"As you wish Khushi dear"

"Dont you dare call me that again Arnav" she glared at him. But the concern for him was written on her face. She saw him have his medicines and felt relieved. She then went back to her room.

Arnav opened his laptop.

"What happened chotte who came???"

"Guess who???" Arnav smirked.

"Khushi????" all four of them exclaimed.

"Yeah"

"But why???" Khushal asked

"To know whether I've had my medicines or not"

"Unbelievable man!!!"Arjun said

"Arjun it would be unbelievable to you , but to us its not so. We all know Khushi's nature. She can go to any extent for her loved ones and Arnav, he is her life, then how can she let anything happen to him???" Anjali told her husband.

Arnav Khushal and Riana were touched with her words. She was 100% correct about Khushi that was his Khushi.

"you know something Khushal??? Khushi have been spoiled after living with her brother!!!"

"What ???"

"yeah you know she has started lying these days. She told me that when she told you about my health you asked her to check whether I've had my medicines and thats why she came."

"Is that so , then i have another plan wait a minute!!!"

Khushal picked up his phone and dialled Khushi's number and put the phone on speaker.

"Bhai how are you ???"

"I'm fine Khushi but you tell me something did you tell Arnav that I asked you to make sure he has had his medicines???"

"yeah bhai"

"But why Khushi???"

"Actually bhai it was because of me that his health worsened. He was telling me that he wanted to eat but I kept on avoiding. I didnt know he had health issues..."

"But why did you tell him that i asked you to"

"Bhai what will he think if i go and ask him about his medicines and all, so I thought it would be better if i used your name"

"Wow what an idea!!!"

"BTW bhai what did you tell him ????"

"I thought why should I let my sister down so i went ahead with your lie"

"Thank god he doesnt know"

"What , who doesnt know????"

"Nothing bhai, i'll talk to you later. Bye" she cut the call

The 5 of them broke into laughter which they were controlling till now knowing how hard Khushi was struggling to come up with lies.

"I told na, my Khushi used to speak only the truth and now her brother has spoilt her"

"Yeah I'm the one who spoilt her thats why I'm trying to get her life back to normal"

"Ok ok guys, its enough for today. You need to rest. Thank god Khushi has made you take your medicines. Now get some sleep. Good night!!!"

"Di its night there not here. Anyways bye"

He switched off his laptop and dozed off thinking of Khushi.

Meanwhile Khushi had prepared dinner for him. She knew he must not have prepared anything and so she made less spicy food as he liked them and took them to his room.

By the time he was awake. She knocked again.

"I've brought dinner for you!!!" saying this she entered his room.

She kept the food on the table.

"infact bhai asked me to prepare this for you"

"I dint ask that Khushi"

"Whatever I dont want you to have any sort of misunderstanding thats why i made it clear"

"Ok"

"Now eat"

"I'll you may go now"

"Bhai asked me to wait until you finish"

"thats not a problem Khushi he wont know"

"But still I'm not used to cheating people" Arnav's heart sank when she said those last words. But he tried to be normal.

"ok" he sat down to eat

"Did you eat???"

"Why do you care???"

"I do care Khushi because its about you. If you haven't then we can have together."

"I have had my food already and now stop thinking about me and then eat"

She left after he had his food.

"How could you believe that I could have my food when you were in such a state??? He is good at misunderstanding me right from the beginning. Whats new in that???" she thought.

She reached her room. Her phone rang.

"Khushi eat something atleast now, I know you didnt have anything. so please!!!"

She cut the phone and smiled thinking about it.

"So he cares and he understands!!! Hey Khushi why are you thinking about him all the time??? NO Khushi you cant. You kept yourself away from him and his family all these years and you cant let him spoil your work so easily"

She had her food. She couldn't resist herself from thinking about him. She then got a message from him. She opened it
