well, Mehek good post really...

for one, i m married too and i have complete faith in my husband.. bt the point here is not abt faith on one's husband.. here its tolerating the woman who wants to be the "other woman" in ones life.. its but natural for any wife to not tolerate such woman.. if she is a true friend, a wife can still tolerate and respect this r;ship.. bt certainly not a best friend like mallu!

heres mallu has done thngs tht Nidhi shudnt even consider Mallu back in Ashu's life.. forget respecting husbands best friend!

for sake of humanity yes.. she shud've given mallu treatment.. and may b let Ashu visit her and even help Ashu in making mallu recover.. bt the way mallu has entered and is slowly going to make way into Nidhis house.. is totally unacceptable..

I wud've personally told my husband.. u want to care for her fine.. i will help bt thr has to b a fine line of limit.. a boundary.. she cannot cross the line and come in barging in their personal lives.. as a friend she will get wat all she deserves but nothing more or less than tht..

how many times has it happened tht this so called "other" woman has been a reason for disputes betn husband-wife.. wen its absolutely unnecessary..

I agree with all of you...but do we have an option?? A man who can punish and take class for not getting up early and make Chai...cannot understand Mallika's dialogues, gestures and behavior...strange...I cannot watch the serial till this track ends...do not have the strength to bear all this...

yes i agree with u people itny dilsy lagansy ashu kabhi nidhisy baty nai ki agar unki jagah koibhi hoti woh bhi jyada durd mehsoos karsakty hay like nidhi

Completely agree with @ Achiever.. I am married and will not take this reaction from my husband.. Can help friend, but keep her away from personal life ..But Ashu's behaviour towards mallu in yesterday's epi and precap is not acceptable...

Agree with you mehek no wife can see her husband taking care of her friend more than her.
I am not married , so I can't think from you all POV.
But I was thinking if Nidhi stops Ashu from showing so much concern for Mallika, and she argues with him regarding Mallika.
Then will Ashu respect her in the same way as he used to love her before. He loved Nidhi for her generous qualities , because she has a good heart and she was sensitive toward orphan kids.
The qualities which she had was missing in mallika , that's why he didn't fall in love with her.
He has rejected mallika's love earlier then why will he love her now.

Kya pata after Nidhi shows her dislike for mallika he helps her hiding from Nidhi.
It's just my POV

Thanx all of u for the lovely response. It made me happy to know that I was not the only one who found Ashu's reaction unacceptable from the point of view of a wife...I wanted to be a bit more vehement in my expressions but held my words in check as I was unsure of what others would feel and did not want to cause a furore on the forum...I agree with all of u that his behaviour would be very hurtful for Nidhi...And also how could Ashutosh so conveniently forget all that Mallika has so far done to separate him and Nidhi? Not to forget she herself admitted to having done so...He should put himself in Nidhi's shoes and think how he would feel if Nidhi di and said what he did for a friend of hers...namely Rohan...

I too was disgusted when I saw the episode and am now in two minds as to whether to continue watching this track o wait for it to end...Just hope the CVs have thought of this track as a way to make filler episodes till SK is back on his feet again...and put an end to it soon...They have spoiled a beautiful post-marriage track of Ashni..I at least was looking forward to seeing their relationship grow after coming together as husband and wife...There could have been so many tracks the Cvs could have thought of and all they could come up with is this one!!!! Hoping to see it end soon...And that also with all of Mallu's past misdeeds coming out in front of her best of best friends Ashu...

U have raised some very good points about why Ashu fell for Nidhi in the first place...Yes Nidhi does have very good qualities which are missing in Mallika...And it is these qualities which made her search for Mallu and bring her back...Had the situation been reversed I am sure Mallika would have exactly what Anjie suggested Nidhi should do...Left her alone and lied saying she could not find her...The point I wanted to make was how could any wife or for that matter even a girl friend bear to see the way Ashu behaved whebn he saw Mallu and hear the things he spoke about and to Mallu...I at least would have been extremely hurt had I been in Nidhi's shoes...And would have probably even lost my cool...

@ Bold...True that Ashu has never loved Mallu but has always looked upon her as a very good friend...But after seeing his behaviour in yesterday episode it would be very difficult to prove that point...

I only feel the Cvs should have underplayed Ashu's reaction...Caring for a friend is good..But if because of that friend u forget ur newly-wedded wife and how ur behaviour would affect her...Then sorry I strongly object to such behaviour...

Sorry if I have gone overboard in my comments Sarika but this is just my POV dear...Anyways as I said earlier nice points dear...

I have not watched yesterday's epi, so donot know the dialogues directly, but guessing some from aardhan's reply to tanu's post and Shikha's posts.

Ashutosh from the beginning was given with this kind of dialogues.. That had made a false impression on Mallika.. and she kept on hoping for Ashu... no body can say no to it...

but, he drew a clear line between these two.

At dinner date, he kept smiling and kept quiet...and later, when Nidhi pointed out, he said...'Do not over react'... but, he assured properly, that no one can come between them...

Even during the separation, he made it clear (though stopping her from marrying Jagan), he cannot marry Mallu...( Nidhi too told him to so when BB said, he wanted Mallika as bahu)...

So, Ashutosh's love is not a threat to Nidhi and Nidhi knows it.. But, what you have asked is also correct... now she is his wife...wife has more rights... yes very correct...

May beAshu is feeling responsible for Mallu's condition at the moment...as a good friend it is all his duty to take care of her (despite her past misdeeds).. no woman needs to be treated like this... and Nidhi is small and newly married.. might have several hopes on her married life...

But.. but...

All her maturity in accepting Mallika as a friend in Ashu's life and Ashu's reassurances to Nidhi... only show their mental compatibility despite their huge age-gap.I guess this is what they wanted to show. That might give an answer to all those 'LOG" worried...like DB , Anji..etc..

I want to take your attention in another situation where Nidhi is having noodles late night Ashu comes and give lecture on junk food then Nidhi only said Rohan hota to mere sath baithke noodles khata and immediately Ashu took some noodles and eat it. If he reacts in such way for a simple thing then how he can expect Nidhi to accept his words? I never understand Ashu-mallu's friendship. Mallu treats him as her own possession and Ashu treats her as best friend though he knows her feelings why Ashu not try to maintain distance from her? May be Rohan's letter act as blessing for Ashni. Ashu's insecurity will bring him more close to Nidhi . When you have some threat you never take relation as granted you try to give more than 100%. If you see in past Mallu effect is always negative for Ashni and the Rohan effect is always positive. The day Mallu leaves India Ashni problem settled ,they got married and the day she re-enters in Ashni's life Ashu is in the hospital.
