Ineya plays a small-town girl

Actress Ineya is kicked about playing a rustic girl from a little town in her forthcoming film with Thangar Bachan, titled Ammavin Kaipesi.
She says, "I play Selvi, a girl doing her degree in a college in her hometown. She's a little silly, and is the apple of the eye of her family members. She is deeply in love with her mama, played by Shanthnoo, and assumes she will marry him once the time is right. But destiny proves otherwise."
Ineya adds, "I've seen Thangar sir's films, and have loved the way he sketches the characters. They are so real, so lively! When I got a call from him, I was thrilled. I was reminded of the time when Bharathiraja sir called me for his films. I guess I'm lucky to be working with senior directors in the industry at a very early stage."
The film, which has music by Rohit, will go on floors on June 4 in Puducherry.
