In India housewives face the same things Jagya faces. And they accept their fate smilingly.

Why Jagya cant accept and become a good housewife?

He has a beautiful wife who is fashionable too. She is earning and has better educational qualifications. She is ready to give him free boarding and lodging and other things as well.

Jagya must first kill his super ego and become domesticated.

For a change, he can wear sarees with pallu just for the heck of it. When his inlaws come, his transformation can be complete.

Jetsar people will be pleasantly surprised to see their son becoming a beendini.

If Gauri has a child, he can become the permanent babysitter. He can sing lullabys too. First he has to learn those lullabys.

Anandi fed his ego by supporting him, hiding his flaws and generally pampering him no end.

Gauri subdued him with her beauty and ruthlessness and is making him into her doormat.

A man like Jagya deserves his fate richly.

Just contrast Jagya with Shiv who would not like to be influenced unduly and wants to see things in proper perspective.
