Just catching up with your stuff. This is so sweet. Hope ASR gets over his panic soon or at least has the sense to talk to someone about it.

So the rest of the family know! Khushi is about to get diva treatment and I love how she admired him sleep! Tres cute!

Note: When I wrote part 3, I had not watched IPK for a week or so, thus I did not know that Arnav had gifted her pearls in her dream. I just watched that scene last night on youtube and found out about the pearls. I didn't copy the idea.

Oh and I know a lot of you want Arnav to clear the air...it will come in time. I dont like MU's, I hated the one in IPK and I hate it in general. A good writer doesn't rely on MU's to further their story, atleast I believe that. What I have written in my story is not a MU, it's people's fears and anxieties that cause them to hide things from the ones they love. We all have hidden things right.

Part 5

Khushi had been keeping an eye on di all throughout breakfast. Di was trying her best not to look upset, but Khushi could tell she was. Everytime someone suggested a baby name, she could see a pang of pain cross di's face. Everytime someone talked about the baby, di was reminded of her lost child. Khushi did not want to hurt di. She should have thought about it before telling everyone. But she could not help it...when she had thrown up everyone had guessed. Khushi would have to talk to naniji and everyone else so that they can be more careful around di.

"Khushi," she heard arnav ji call her name as he was climbing the stairs. "Can you come upstairs for a minute, I need to tell you something," Arnav ji said. She knew what he wanted "to tell her." She was so glad things were back to normal. Yesterday she had been so upset, and now... Just then naniji, mamiji, payal jiji, and even di started giggling. Khushi was glad that the pain was gone atleast for a while. Wait why were they all giggling? Did they know why Arnav ji was calling her upstairs? Once payal jiji had caught come upstairs after breakfast and she had entered their room without knocking and she had seen us. Khushi didn't think jiji would have told anyone, but apparently she had. God, now the teasing would only increase since she was pregnant.

"Khushi," arnav ji called again and her cheeks flamed. Everyone knew. How was she going to face them now? Khushi did not want to go because she was so embarrassed and she knew they would tease her later. But she did want to hear what arnav ji wanted "to tell her." So she excused herself from the breakfast table, trying to maintain some dignity.

After Khushi shut the door to their bedroom, she looked around for Arnav ji but he was nowhere to be found. Just then arnav ji hugged her from behind. "Khushi," he whispered in her ear. Khushi turned around and smiled. "Arnav ji," she said. Arnav ji cupped her face...rubbed her lips with his fingers as Khushi tried to speak through the shivers that his fingers were causing, "ummm...I didn't tell...everyone."

"I know Khushi...I am glad they found out, they would have eventually. Now atleast I don't have to worry about you, they will take care of you."

Khushi got a frown on her face, "what do you mean, I don't take care of myself," Khushi said as she pushed him back and turned around. Arnav ji chuckled and said "of course you take care of yourself love. That's why you keep bump into things, forget to eat, trip on flat ground," arnav ji laughed.

Khushi pretended to be upset. She knew he was only concerned for her but it was so fun to tease him. "What arnav ji, you don't think I can take care of our child," Khushi noticed something in arnav ji's eyes when she said that but it went away as quickly as it had appeared.

"I am sorry Khushi. I didn't mean it like that. I just worry about it, that's all." And that put a smile on Khushi's face. Of course her husband was worried about her. He loved her so much. He kissed her then passionately. "Khushi...if you need...anything...call me," arnav ji said between breaths.

"Hmmm," Khushi said. Then he left for office.

Nice update. Arnav is really worried about Khushi and his child. Hope he opens up to her and tell hers his fears. Khushi may be clumsy but I think she is going to be careful when she is pregnant with Arnav's child. She would be shattered if something were to happen to their child.

I feel bad for Anjali, Khushi and Arnav!!!!
