Is Gayatri a just anti-Aarti specimen??

Gayatri had problem with Aarti and Ansh from begining. So she is like anti to Aarti at every step. But is her character developed for this thing only??? Ok they cud show her thinking abt Aarti and then abt Yash's happiness,his revolt,his loneliness after Arpi death. But no out of all matters she is anti-aarti mostly. Never saw her smiling,thinking even before Aarti entry into their lives. Seems like she is given dialogues and scenes just to carry main story forward or giving hints about Yash.
Characters of Aarti and Yash r deep but Gayatri is totally shallow and they chose an epic face for evilness but this time she is fool!!
Can Gayatri just once think abt Yash happiness??? Nahi..never..she will always b a shallow character only!! And it will not matter bcoz AarYa will b together. But can there b a beautiful family scene depicting how Aarti and Ansh has been accepted completely even though she was second wife of Yash and Ansh didnt have any blood relations with them.
