Mohan's prophetic words came true.

I was watching old episodes and this is what captured my heart...It is the scene at farm house when Gautum and Reshmi asked Mohan and Megha to enact how Mohan proposed Megha ! (29th April episode). This is what how Mohan began...

"Hum story cover kar ke aa rahe thay, mari motorcycle kharab ho gayee, Achanak baarish shuru ho gayee, Madam ki sandle toot gayee...Raaste main gadhadhe thay, paani se bhare hue who paar karate karaate mainie inka haath tham liya...Man Main yeh ahasaas hua ki jaise hi yeh kathin raasta taiy ho gaya toh inka haath mere haath se choot jayega, toh maine inse puchha ki yeh story ka investigation agar katam ho gaya toh aap mujh se door ho jayengi?"

That's the irony of his life, hardy he knew at the time that his own words will become prophetic in his life. A false story that he is narrating will become the most heart wrenching fact of his life. I must commend scene writers and dialogue writes of NBT for such a wonderful work...how every word that Mohan had spoken that day gave a new meaning to the future events...

Raaste main gadhadhe thay, paani se bhare hue who paar karate karaate mainie inka haath tham liya ---------------- The way that led them to Amar's murder evidence was full of hurdles and obstructions sometimes from outside, other times from within. From Viyaas Family to Dinanath, everybody tried to stop Megha to investigate the truth. Just before going to Bhopal Megha also retreated but Mohan held her hand and led her through till he found the evidence.

Man Main yeh ahasaas hua ki jaise hi yeh kathin raasta taiy ho gaya toh inka haath mere haath se choot jayega, toh maine inse puchha ki yeh story ka investigation agar katam ho gaya toh aap mujh se door ho jayengi?"...Mohan was confidently treading on the rough path holding Megha's hand but his worst fear came true when Megha distrusted him. Megha's abhorrence at the PL office shattered his heart. How can his own words be so cruelly true for his own life!!! ... I wonder if this is what was in his heart..."Now that Amar's case is over, Megha's hand is no longer in mine; Has she gone away !..Have I lost her forever !"

And then...Mohan said all that was in his heart that day and ended saying, " Haah yeh sach hai ki main aapse door rehne ki koshish karta hoon kiyonki jab bhi aap mere paas hoti hain toh dil karta hai ki bol doon ...Haan ..Haan main aapse pyaar karta hoon magar keh nahin paata...kiyoki shayaad aapko kho dene ka dar aapko pane ki khushi se kai zayada hai"

That was Mohan who was scared of loosing Megha. Then, his friendship was at stake but now, after losing everything, he has no fear of losing anymore. He is broken and hurt. And for the first time I think is he is in complete control of his emotions. He has made himself emotionally tough. He appreciate Jiji for her hind heart and very tactfully stopped her from asking an apology. Although he was very disappointed with FIL but at the same time he humbled himself by folding hands and accepted his apology. He was deeply moved when Nanhi tried to stop him...He sulked down on his bike...as if needed a support to be firm on his decision. Phir se Megha se door rehne ki koshih kar raha hai. But this time he has no fear to lose his friendship because there is no friendship left anymore. Jo apna hai hi nahin use khone ka kiya dar?

And then He saw Megha in front with her hands up in the air like she did before when life unexpectedly put a halt to his reckless chase. That day was just the beginning, Megha has always put a halt to his reckless pace. Be it running after Koyal or his bike thief. So is it another beginning?...When Mohan saw Megha, it was so unexpected. So many thoughts bombarded his mind at the same time... "Why is she here;...what more she wants to say...can I now be able to control myself?...Should I tell her what I feel;...No I won't ..why should I ..she did not believe me...she doubted me...why did she do that?..how can she do that?..does she has no feelings for me?.. if U don't have feelings for me, that's alright but why you are here...but her eyes they are not lying...No they have never lied to me...why do you play such games with me Megha...it hurts me... it hurts more than you can imagine...but not anymore Megha you can't play with me like this."

The Precap:

Megha pleaded Mohan not to go. Mohan is in no mood to beat around the bush anymore. This is no time of evaluating what he is losing or gaining. It was his last chance to let his heart rule over his mind. Megha's effort to stop him was a clear affirmation that she also has some feelings for him. He has never been so sure about Megha and having nothing at stake he shed all his inhibitions and emptied his heart saying he helped her because he is in love with her. Straight and clear. (Actually including this one Mohan has already told her this 4 times)

About the way Mohan asking an explanation...I do not want to say anything now I'll hold my outpouring emotions till tomorrow.

At the Farmhouse Megha replied to Mohan's fake proposal...

kin yeh kah ke tumne mujhe khoya nahin balki jindagi bhar ke liye pa liya....I wish Megha said something similar and gave a beautifully happy end to Mohan's fake but prophetic story.

Do not know if this is my imagination or CV's brilliant writing but applauds to the scriptwriters of NBT.👏👏👏

Hi

fantastic observation I must say...sometimes we get so carried away by the story that we forget some moments in the past...I think this will give a new dimension to the story...perhaps Ved Vyaas would become matchmaker as he sees that nanhi and megha have blind faith in Mohan...😃

Hi Shania...I also thought that FIL will be the matchmaker but yesterday the way he behaved , I do not think so...Poor FIL was so guilt conscious that he could not even say a word to Mohan...A person who can talk both to Mohan and Megha freely will be the matchmaker. And if FIL now says..I allow M M 's relation...that would be too selfish. We need somebody who understands the depth of this relationship.

Mohan might get perplexed as Megha wants to stop him & he wants to run far away from his own feelings.

Wonderful post Varsha.
Many people were of the opinion what was the need to rush to this ILU thing.. but I think it is very much justified... Now mohan has nothing to loose. So the fear of losing has gone... On the other hand he has also accepted that Megha won't accept him as a lover... So his questioning is justified.

Mohan is running away because he is hurt...He has never ran away from his feelings...He has so many times (4) expressed his love to Megha but yes he has always camouflaged his feelings with his witty answers...but he was never denied his feelings...he has always shared them with Guru.

And if FIL now says..I allow M M 's relation...that would be too selfish. We need somebody who understands the depth of this relationship.

I have a lot of faith in FIL who is a man of principles and he knows he must make amends. He may start off my inviting Mohan to dinner at the Vyas household though Renu would certainly object to sharing the table with the 'lafanga patrakar'

Why Mumta...why people still think ILU is not justified at this moment. As U have said, Mohan knows it is difficut for Megha to love Mohan...but At the same time he knows that Megha knows about his love. And Megha is quite comfortable with it because otherwise she would not have said, How can U do this...tum toh mujhse...) Mohan also noticed how Megha tried to tell him that she has no desire left. Now when Mohan is cornering her...it is because he want her to reason out why his going away hurts her. How does it matter if Mohan is by her side or not? He wanted her to analysis why does she came running so recklessly , barefooted and that too when she was into her deepest sorrow? And by now even Mohan has realized that he is not just a friend for her..so ILU to banta hai...Zayada nahi toh toda toda.

Ha Ha..quite prophetic ZAndu😉 just read .this news flash... Arey Yahaan toh sab bade bade sayahe hai...👏

Recent episodes have seen Papaji of Vyas household warming up to Mohan ( Kunal Karan Kapoor ). The upcoming episode will see Papaji inviting Mohan over to Vyas House for dinner and it will not go down well with the entire household.
