WHAT LIES BENEATH
Chapter One
" YUVI!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " her scream rose like thunder through the darkness.
" Hey Bhaggu!! Agar is Pshycho ko kuch bhi hua na…I'll never forgive myself!!!! " unable to control the tears being formed in her eyes " Yuvi…YUVI!!! Kahaan ho tum???? "
She repeated her shouts for another few minutes…but gave up when she heard only the echoes of her sounds coming back to her…..
She sat down on a rock…and strained her eyes to see something beyond the darkness of the forest…..anything…any damn thing which could give her an indication that Yuvi was alive…..Yuvi was ok…..
NO!!! She suddenly scolded herself…How dare she think this way???? How dare she give up like this??? She immediately stood up instinctively and decided to search for him…..but on a second thought….she knew it was a bad idea…a very very bad idea….it could be dangerous…and if she lost herself….then there'll be no one search him...for no one except she knew where he was....
She couldn't call Nick either……
She couldn't inform others yet….not even a single soul at Maurya….coz it wud mean betraying Nick…and she knew she couldn't do that…..
Not till everything was cleared…..
So….she waited…..and waited……..and this wait had been her longest till now…….
And she remembered how she ended up with this…….
Chapter Two
~~~~Flashback~~~~
" Hello!!!! Yeh rule no.6 kab hua???? "
" Rite here…rite now!!!! "
" And according to this rule…..main tumhe yahaan….. corridor mein kiss bhi nahi kar sakta??? What is this Ashi????? This is not done!!!!!! "
Ashi smiled at Yuvi's anger and frustration and slipped a hand around his shoulder.
" Look Yuvi…mujhe PDA pasand nahi hai…ok??? "
" PDA??? "
" Duh-huh!!! Public Display of Affection!!! "
"WHAT??? "
" Yuvi….u and I are goin around…tumhe pata hai…mujhe pata hai…humare saare friends ko pata hai……lekin kya sab ko baar baar dikhaana jaroori hai??? "
Yuvi shaked his head and looked away from Ashi.Ashi looked lovingly at Yuvi.
She slipped a hand though his and said " Par maine aisa toh nahi kahaan…ki hum yeh display of affection kar hi nahi sakte???? Maine toh sirf yeh kahaan…ki hum yeh display…yahaan nahi kar sakte……sirf yehi mere rule ka ek chota sa jaroori clause hain….jo tumhe maanna padega….manoge na??? "
" Woof Woof!!! " said Yuvi and them smiled flirtatiously at Ashi.
" Awwww coochie coochie!!!! " said Ashi in a baby voice fondly running her hand through Yuvi's curls.
And before Ashi could change her mind Yuvi picked her up….and they left to their beloved place…..
"Yuvi….tumne apne dad ko koi contact kiya?? "
"Ashi!!!! Please yaar….kitna romantic atmosphere hain….aur tum kyun us aadmi ka naam le rahi ho.??? "
" Sorry Yuvi….." said Ashi hugging him.
" Ashi….main Yashwant Dev se koi bhi contact nahi rakhna chahta….after all…meri bhi koi pehchaan hain…I want to be someone Ashi…Yuvraj ko Dev hatakar bhi kuch banna hain…."
Ashi smiled at his determined look.
" Yuvi…hum sab ko kuch na kuch banna hain…..I mean…mujhe dekho….maine bhi abhi tak apni life ki ambition decide nahi ki hai…"
" Remix toh hoga hi Ashi…..but apart from that…I mean….."
" I know what u mean Yuvi…." Said Ashi smiling at Yuvi.
" Hey Bhaggu!!!! " said Ashi suddenly jumping up and tugging Yuvi's hand.
" Kya hua??? "
" Bhool gaye kya pshycho???? Humari aaj prefects ke saath meeting hain…"
" Oh yeah!!!! Kuch important issues deal karne hain…"
" And we being presidents cant afford to be late….so come on!!! " she said pulling Yuvi.But Yuvi looked longingly at Ashi...which made her blush deeply...but she controlled herself...
" Ashi…yeh tumhare 6th rule ke mutabik….yeh display ka time thoda jyaada nahi ho sakta???? "
" NAHI!!!! Aur agar tum yahaan se nahi hile na…toh main ek aur 7th rule banaoongi….weekdays mein…no display!!!!! "
" WHAT???? "
" Yuvi…hum apni responsibilities nahi bhool sakte!!! Now COME ON!!!!! " she said literally dragging him out of the shed.
