At the begining of d epi I was thinking is this issue so serious for covering in a show like SMJ... there may happen such accidents (accident!! I was so wrong) ... but at the end of the show the epi changed my views over the matter... yaah I knew lots of docs are enough corrupted to drag the duration of treatment, keeping the patients in their hand but it can be these serious... I really can't imagine... even after so many years of Independence people are dying coz de can't afford medz ... I loved how AAMIR inquired MCI head... all the facts were clear n I guess for the 1st time we got a vivid pic of reality ... I loved when Doc Gulati said for India its a fashion only to compete with Pakistan... Y??? They have their own prob we have our ... can't we follow the example of Belgium or England ... who have taken a right step... more than stupid comparison n competition with neighbor country our Gov should take care of the issues we need to solve

I really loved today's epi a lot (well I loved each of them) .. full of apt information, presence of needed Personas... and brilliant presentation of AAMIR... this show is a real eye opener ... hats off to AAMIR n his team.. SATYAMEV JAYATE

This episode restored my faith in the show. It's a great improvement from episodes 2 and 3!

I plan to write more on this episode. But having frequent power cuts here today so have to switch off the computer for now.

Leaving aside today's episode I'd say this show should focus on other professions too now. Only doctors have been under scanner due to episode 1 and now this episode 4. They should bring some balance and focus on other segments too. I was also glad to see an issue being discussed which has nothing in particular to do with women, families or marriage! Last 3 episodes had become monotonous on this ground.

Hope to see only improvement in content and presentation in future episodes of the show like this week's episode. No more hiccups like episode 3 please.

@Annika I don't know y u said hiccups in epi 3.. I loved it as the subject was crucial ... till now a country like INDIA has dowry prob is a shame, I didn't feel that was less important n d 2nd epi was something I couldn't ever think can be covered in a show... both of them were nice but I liked today's for some obvious reasons . n I don't think SMJ is targeting d docs only... its just in both woman infanticide n health corruption docs r involved .. n its normal corruption in health department bothers us directly .. I guess more than others..

I didn't think episode 3 was less important or less relevant. The issue was important. But it was not handled properly in this show in my opinion, considering how serious the issue was.

Today's episode was BRILLIANT by all means, balanced approach in all respects, well researched, well rounded, well presented. Emotions and information - all balanced in the best manner possible. Aamir has also improved a lot as an anchor. And I loved how he grillied Dr. Talwar of MCI!! Dho daala!😆👏

It is the best episode of SMJ so far. And I hope future episodes also follow the same trajectory or are even better. It's first time I could not really find faults with an episode of SMJ!

Oh this episode hit the nail so hard, luved luved Aamir grillin the MCI and Dr Gulati was simply the best. The MCI chairman was left speechless,I really liked that there was a thorough research and an RTI filled as well. Luved the flow, narration and everythin about the this episode, i wsh SJ sticks to this form and hit each issue with this format.

I happened to catch up a follow uo discussion on Satr news, the whole big shots of medical fraternity were so up in arms defendng themselves, one very prominent doc happened to say that such cases r few and only handful of docs r corrupt, they used phrases like " Aamir's show was doctored against doctors", a tragedy where the learned class cannot shed the ego involved!

I am seriously shocked at reactions of certain doctors after this episode of Satyamev Jayate! It's not about defaming the medical profession! What's wrong if he exposed the truth? Did he fudge facts or cook up stats? No!

I appreciate those doctors and medical students who took this episode in the right spirit and admitted that such elements exist in their profession and that they would not endorse what their corrupt counterparts did!👏

It's too much when sometimes politicians go after him playing the communal card due to his religion or political parties accuse him of defmaing their state's reputation! I wonder what the Raj health minister has to say now after Aamir showed positive action from an IAS officer in Rajasthan on this issue in today's episode!😡

And let's stop hauling up Aamir Khan just because he's a movie star. Whether we admit it or not, people notice something only when famous faces take up some issue. It took those AIDS awareness ads featuring Madhuri Dixit and Shabana Azmi in late 80s and early 90s to help remove stigma over AIDS and at least make people talk and learn about it! Intellectuals who are cynical, tell me how much they talk when an activist does something? It's fault of public for not focusing on newspapers or trying other resources of knowledge but paying attention the moment some famous person says something!

They accuse film stars of spoiling society or being good for nothing. But why get so worked up if some star is doing something for a sensible cause?

If criticism is to be there, it should be on solid grounds. Not merely because the show is hosted by a film star! That's not reason enough to blast away the show.

Oh I didn't know that Docs r protesting against d show... rofl .. really some people can't come out of their ego... I guess SMJ has given enough proves that exploitation in the name of health care n treatment is going on n how!!!... He told again n again that he has enough respect for this profession n on those who r really trying to give their best.. presence of a gr8 Doc like Devi Shetthi was a proof of that... I guess any one from ds field knows him well.. actually receiving gifts 4m MR n prescribing expensive medz is something very natural to them they can't digest the fact that this is a corruption indeed... the DOCs who r shouting against SMJ wanna ask them how many of u has never taken a gift from the mr n didn't prescribe it?? huh me sure answer is 0 ... I have conformed it from someone who is very much attached with health department n she has ensure me each n every point was 100% truth.. AAMIR has not missed or improvised any of them...btw AAMIR as a host did a gr8 job today.. well he was always amazing but today he was d best...

I think the episode was fantastic...the handling of the issue today was marvellous...I liked the 2nd and 3rd episode also but by the theory of relativity the rating of this episode is sky high...I can find no words to appreciate the efforts of some sincere doctors..they are doing a fantastic job and I am proud of them...but some doctors can make you cringe in shame...I was aghast that doctors@demi gods can stoop so low...they operated so many females in Andhra for their selfish motives...shameful...I think each and every aspect of today's episode is worthy a lengthy discussion...the entire package was put together perfectly...kudos to today's episode...

So true...I don't know what these people (the detractors) want...I mean, when shahrukh comes up with shows like panchavi pass, salman comes up with 10 kadum etc...they say these film stars are commercially driven ( I stil don't know what's wrong with that...they are not stealing it...) and hardly care to serve the society using their star status... when these very actors open charitable trusts, the detractors call them show off ( you cant give them names minus proof) when amir comes up with a show highlighting important issues...the detractors are least concerned about the topics raised and are more concerned about things that carry no weight, like slamming his personal life...come on get a life...be clear about what you (detractors) want...just because these actors are celebrity we don't need to thrash their every move and action...and surely we don't have any right to comment on their personal lives...
