The actress is shooting a Telugu flick that stars her husband Rajesh as well

Rumour mills have been grinding nonstop about the on and off romance between Mollywood actress Meera Jasmine and her alleged long-time beau, mandolin artist U Rajesh. Amidst reports of the couple hitting splitsville, the latest from the front is that the duo are coming together in a Tollywood flick, which will also mark the onscreen film debut of the actress' musician beau.
A source close to the couple tells CT, "The couple will soon be seen romancing on screen in a Telugu flick. The major part of the shoot was in the scenic locales of Seyschelles."
The source adds that Meera was off films for almost two years now as she was fully involved in the making of the flick. "For Meera, this is a special film in every way possible, especially as it's for the first time that she is acting with her beau, Rajesh. So, in spite of interesting offers coming her way all this while, she chose to turn them down politely so that she could immerse herself in this Telugu project," the source says.
The actress will also play the title role in a Malayalam flick titled Lisammayude Veedu.

Amidst reports of the couple hitting splitsville, the latest on this front is that the duo are coming together in a Tollywood flick, which will also mark the onscreen film debut of the actress' musician beau.
A source close to the couple tells KT, "Just a few days ago, there were reports regarding Meera and Rajesh, which said they have parted ways. But that is far from true. In fact, there's something really big happening in their lives," he says, adding, "The couple will soon be seen romancing onscreen in a Telugu flick. The major part of the shoot took place in the scenic locales of Seyschelles."

The film is almost done and the actress has begun signing on new films across the southern film industry, adds the source. Meera has broken her two-year stand-off from the Mollywood screen now and will play the title role of Lisamma in director Babu Janardhanan's flick, Lisammayude Veedu. A sequel to director Lal Jose's AchanurangathaVeedu, the film will start rolling on June 10, confirms the director. "Meera was convinced about the challenging role she has at hand in the flick and that prompted her to sign up for a Malayalam film after almost two years," says Babu.
