I think we were shown this scene as a hint that things are getting back to normal soon...i officially throw the idea that akaash is a suspect out of the window now...he can't be

(unless he is some super mastermind who invited payal for dinner to cover up eventual suspicions later on...HIGHLY doubtful!!)
