Isn't 11th sort of a pre-college in India - the students go to the college for 11th and 12th too, right?

Yes But the competition was meant for the kids from yr8 to 14...

And Reagrding college. In my state(karnataka) there is no concept of 11th and 12th but its called pre-university level education and its called as college not school..

So age is the only thing we need to consider

In Bengal its school only..But is the criteria something like...'Only who goes to school can participate or one below a certain age can??'

Because i vaguely remember recently someone mentioned in one thread that Sharib didn't go to school beyond 9th grade. So does he qualify too???

Here Its not the question of school or college.Age matters,If a person is of age 18 and still is in 10th It doesnt mean THat he is eligible for lil champ competition..

Pranav is studying in 11th std.The average age of a person studying in 11th is 16 or 17.SO pranav is atleast 15.(The age grp Allowed was from 8-14)..How come he has come in this group?

Then many of present bollywood heroes will also be qualified for participating in the Lil Champs, I am sure many of them have not passed matriculation, also many of the cricket players.
