Another Kalakalappu on the cards!

The fimmakers are planning a sequel to his comic caper that's doing well at the box office

Sundar C's latest release has been declared a hit and is having a dream run at the BO. With the success of UTV Motion Pictures' Kalakalappu, starring Vimal, Siva, Santhanam, Oviya and Anjali, the makers are planning part 2 of the flick now!
Director Sundar C is all smiles as he talks about his comic caper. "I was so confident about the success of the movie. Humour will always work," he says. As for Kalakalappu 2, Sundar says that it won't exactly be a sequel. "The storyline and characterization will be different," he explains.
Comedian Santhanam will also have a much lengthier role in the film and since he has hardly had a romantic pair in his other films, one is compelled to ask if he will in this flick. "Yes," says Sundar, "Santhanam will definitely have a pair in this film."
G Dhananjayan from UTV adds that the entire cast and crew is excited about the audience reaction. "The audience is talking about what next from this cast and when a team has delivered an entertaining film, the question is how can we take it to the next level," he says, indicating that the film will kickstart in November.
Most youngsters seem to be singing Angelina... and Ivaluga Imsai… from the movie. These two songs have had people appreciating Vijay Ebenezer's music and he will also be working on Kalakalappu part 2. As for the storyline and where the comedy-action film will take the cast, the director says it's still too early to talk about it. But it looks there's another laugh riot that's going to hit screens very soon!
