Maan stood facing the mirror getting ready to leave for office.He earlier didn't pay attention to his appearance as he knew he looked perfect.But today he wanted to look really great for Geet albeit he half knew how would she react or how would he talk to her.It felt really awkward. He was not angry with her anymore.Whatever had happened was a thing of the past.There was no use cribbing about it anymore.It had served it's purpose of making him realize his feelings.So that was that.But why did she run away without telling him anything?,he thought.
"Don't stare at the mirror so much Mr Khurana,the mirror will shy away!" Geet stood, placing her elbow on Maan's shoulder.
"When did you come?" asked Maan,totally surprised.
"To answer the question which you were asking to yourself just now.Simple!" she answered in a playful manner.
"Oh! I forgot you can read minds!" he teased her.
"and now hearts also" she waited for him to reply but he chose to remain silent."Okay,so here it is! You lost the challenge,you fell for me.So sad !!" she said with an air of pride & poked her finger on his chest,on his heart.Maan looked at her finger than her
"You also have not won Geet!" he held her finger tightly,"even you lost the bet by loving me.Accept it!Good for you!" he said with a smirk.
"O My God Maan!Aapko kaise pata?" Geet continued in the same manner.
"I can read your eyes Geet.Tumhari aankhon mein sab dikhta hai!"
"Oh i see!But I haven't confessed it,right?It makes a huge difference!"
"Woh toh tum kari dogi abhi aur isi waqt!" he pulled her closer encircling his arms around her waist.
"Kya kare Maan aisa nahi ho sakta!" she freed herself from him,"I can't confess as easily as you. I am tough nut to crack!"
Maan was shocked.Geet turned him to face the mirror with his back towards her.Then she whispered in his ears,
"I won't say you are right in deducing my feelings!" Maan listened to her in disbelief ,"We were rivals at the start,the way you behaved with me at the beginning..uska badla toh.." she smirked "Anyways,Good Luck!" she ended in a seductive voice.
"Geet!!!!!!!" Maan turned around but shocked to find no one there.His room seemed untouched except for him.Yeah! he was dreaming!,he realised.
But will Geet really do like he had just thought?,he pondered.He won't let her do that!

Geet was graced by another problem that morning.Her parents were very sad with her regarding her poor exams.She tried to assure them that the finals were still remaining.Her dad told her the Khuranas might back off from the marriage as Geet was supposed to be well versed in every aspect of business studies,which she was not! & on the other hand Maan confessed his feelings for her.So now what will be the conclusion,she thought.
The moment she entered the gates of KC,suddenly something dawned on her
"OMG!i haven't told him that I love him...But wait a minute...does he even remember what he had said last night?...ofcourse he remembers..MSK doesn't forgets anything..no matter the situation...i hope it's that way...warna gayi bhains paani mein!...toh what am i supposed to do!...should i confess?...no no no...mein aise kaise kah doon that i love you..i feel shy... babaji ab mein kya karu?"
She was nervously pacing in & out of the premises of KC as if it was a joggers park.The guards were quite irritated with her behaviour but they were helpless enough to do anything when it came to Geet.
When Geet entered the office,she saw a queer sight.All the employees seemed nervous & frightened.She asked the receptionist what the matter was.
"Pata nahi Mam,Maan Sir seemed very angry today.He has given all of us a deadline to complete our work today. As of now he is having an important meeting with clients."
Just then Maan & the clients emerged from the conference hall.Geet felt weak in heart seeing him.She thought it best to hide behind a wall until he went into his cabin.
"But what's the use of hiding?You anyways have to go to him."
But Maan saw her."Geet??But why is she hiding?"
He followed her quietly as she went down the stairs.He wouldn't let her go anywhere now before she confesses to him. Geet reached the exit gate.Then she stopped.
"Geet...aisa nahi chalega!ok fine! Straight go & tell him that you love him aur waise bhi darne ki kya baat hai,you know he loves you,hain na?"
She called the lift to go up again but the lift did not come.So she again took the staircase. Just after she climbed the first flight of stairs,she saw Maan coming down the upper stairs.Now there ws no running away!Maan had seen her. Their eyes met.Maan knew at once that she loved him.Her eyes could so clearly depict her inner unsaid feelings!The thought stirred him.
"Waise these stairs are good for excercising right,moving up & down and all that?" he eyed her keenly.
Geet felt ghoosebumps.She gaped at him wide-eyed.She again lost courage to say her heart out. He descended the remaining stairs & came to her.
"W-Woh...actually...mujhe na..mujhe aapse kuch kehna hai" she said nervously.
Her sentance pricked his ears.So finally she has decided to say it.Maan moved closer to her.
"Toh kaho na!I am listening!"
"W-Woh mein..." she moved a little backward attempting to hide her shy face
"Aree,why are you moving back.Tell me whatever is in your mind Geet don't hide anything."
"Maan...actually I.." Geet walked behind as he walked closer to her.
"Careful Geet,there are stairs behind you!"
"I..."
Geet moved a little more backwards & nevertheless she was about to slip through the stairs.She screamt in fear but Maan was quick enough to pull her to him & save her from falling.She landed in his arms & hugged him,she was still scared.
"Oh Come On! You can trust me!" he whispered in her ears.
Geet hugged him tightly in return.Maan slowly put his hands on her back & held her.He wanted Geet to remain in his arms just like that.His heart felt an inner peace holding her.
"Okay now tell me what you wanted to tell!"
Geet looked at him. She closed her eyes tightly & began
"I am sorry Maan aapko bin bataye gayab ho gayi actually i was so depressed ki i didn't know what to do meri wajah se aako buhot pareshani uthani padi sorry!!!i won't do anything like that henceforth infact i will tell you everywhere i go"
She said it all in one breath without stopping.Maan was startled.
"Kya??Do you really wanted to say this to me??"
"Yes"
"a-and nothing else?"
"No" she pretended to not know anything.
"Fine!!" he distanced himself form her.He started to go from there.Geet followed him.
"Aree,now why are you angry,maine sorry bola na.mera gussa bechare employees par kyun nikaal rahe ho?"
"Because you didn't say what I wanted you to say!"
"mujhe toh kuch samaj mein hi nahin aa raha,what are you saying."
"Yeah!that's a very big problem,tumhe toh kuch samaj mein hi nahi aata na!" he was angey
They argued all the way up to his cabin.
"...Aree par what's the matter.I will repeat after you what you will tell me!"
"Quiet!!!" Geet was startled.She stood in attention position.Then Maan said, "Have a glass of water!!" he offered her the glass "Man!no one has ever eaten my nerves like you before!" he thought to himself.
She drank the water & forwarded her report card to Maan.
"See my deeds!" she gazed at the floor.
He saw it.Yeah! she had every reasons to run away!,he thought.
"Man!I remember I had an employee whose work performance card was same as this!"
"So what did you do then?" she asked her curiously,
"Nothing.Just fired him from work because of his inefficiency!" he said calmly.
"Hww!!! you are so cruel!!!" she said in a rough voice
"Ah! thanks for the compliment!I also don't like people who are inefficient in sharing their mind."he shot a quick glance at Geet.
She ruefully went & sat in the sofa.
"Now what will I do! Dad ne toh kehe diya hai, he won't let me out of the house or talk to anyone for the next three weeks until i properly study & pass the exams!" she sighed.
Maan was shocked.He quickly walked towards her & sat next to her
"R-Really?" he asked concerned
"I can never joke in these matters.my future is in the dark.I won't get a life-partner...even you said you fired that employee so... " she sighed again but looked at him,stealing glances from him.
"Waise it's not actually a problem.Your exams is after 24 days so i can...I can be your teacher.."
Geet raised her eye-brows in disbelief "You will teach me?you???"
"yes,why not.it's better than being jailed in your house,right? & there is time before our company gets the next big deal!"
"No Maan..you really have lots of work..i can't trouble you...thanks" she got ready to leave.
"Wait Geet" he caught her hand.She turned to look at him,"When Maan Singh Khurana offers help,no one refuses" he said with a smirk
"Thik hai!So be it,Maan Sir!" she said in a playful tone.They both stood staring at each other.
"Sir??Why Sir?Instead of 'I love you' , 'Sir' !"
"How to confess to Maan Singh Khurana??"
