Vasanthi, Till now I was of same view that the contestants, judges etc in any reality show are doing all the noutanki with their understanding and knowledge.
But some times we also hear from the contestants that the on-air piece was used out of context etc... It happened with Juhi parmar in Pati, Patni aur Woh, she claimed. She was projected or showed a bit bad... She claimed later to her fans that the pieces were edited and put up in such a way .
So there are chances of both cases. Most of the cases, I believe the contestants, judges etc are part of the drama and they do it as per the direction to give that emotional element to the reality show to garner TRPs.
At the same time, if they are on a constant vigil 24x7, under the cameras, then when they show some expressions and talk some things, the PH and director can use them in any way...
