I think DC would have calculated that Akshat will not be annoyed with himself or put it on Meenakshi for not getting the best jodi title and his brother got..

The precap says a lot about how the statistics of the result announcement changed with him thinking and asking the other two judges also to take the decison to have Anagd and Karishma win..

He sees the audience perspective no matter what when it comes to show taking the decision of who gets the crown...

he handles the talent part and the audience part and switches when he sees which gets more focus...

Lizzie,

That said, I feel Akshat should have felt a little happiness at the fact that his brother won. Angad is always so encouraging of him and feels so happy when he does well. Karishma is stoking the hidden tiger within Angad..she's provoking him into believing that he too can be the best, better than his brother if he believes it. And if the passion and the desire to win starts blazing within Angad too, there's no telling where this competition will go. A lot if dynamics and inter-personal relationships are gonna change as a result.

These are true words.. I am expecting battle between the two brothers...
At this point of time apart from Karishma no one else is serious on the goal...
Both AkShi are on different mission all together. They do not bother about the goal to become dancing star...
And you rightly pointed, Akshat did not feel happy for his brother winning a step... That is so obviously strange...

Bhanu regarding their focus on the competition...

Angad was laid-back.. But now with the win he might change his attitude.

Sameer wanted badly to be there, but was ousted.

Akshat fiercely wanted to win since he was the "best", but now he doesn't seem to care..he's more worried about his morals and being "good" and making moony eyes at Meenu.

Meenu of course is the resident do-gooder and her only focus has been Sameer so far. Jai ho Meenu mata ki! Sheesh! With Sameer on the road to recovery, she should get down to business now.

Karishma seems to want to win, but her desire to put down Meenu and everyone associated with her seems to take precedence over winning even... She seems to focus on being nasty to Meenu and getting people to go against her, rather than on her dancing moves.

She probably knows that her only serious competitor would be Meenu, since DC so obviously favours her. So in putting her down or getting her to goof up, she has a better chance at the crown.
But now having won the best Jodi... It'll be interesting to see how she'll react...will she become complacent? Or will her desire to win become even more fierce?
