Its about a Marriage not a stupid Wedding

OMG...its on dowry!!!!!!!!!!

And it just started only one segment only two stories and am already choked tongue tied appalled and aghast

Even though I knew this fact but m guessing most might know that like foeticide dowry too is most most prevalent amongst the rich elite class...Komal's story broke my heart and Nishana OMG...

People do not just DO NOT succumb to this people do not...and just DO NOT...

this episode could not have happened at a better time for me and my family..we can completely relate to it...

u know right now me and my family we r in process of wedding off my sister...we r still looking but I cna fele that my parents r under a lot A LOT of society pressure specially my mother she is like we have to do this right WE HAVE TO no matter how much we spend no matter how broke we become we have to do this right coz its the question of our daughter's whole freaking life...she is like I don't ever want her in laws or her husband commenting on the marriage or the stuff she brought with her badly...she is like her whole stature and respect in her new home wld be defined by how we do the wedding and what we give her...and I and my dad and even my sister for that matter r like this is freaking ABSURD...mom is wrecking her endless night sleeps over this and nothing we tell her comforts her...but I have put my foot down...no way in hell I wld let her do this..because its just not freaking right...we r not "selling" my sister are we?...

I honestly believe its a freaking WASTE of our parents hard damn HARD earned money to do a marriage which is out of your reach...hell spending so much money on just ONE ONE freaking day of your life?..its insane its worse than burning money in crackers or alcohol...I have put my foot down and m like NO we wld not spend so much on weddings...its bizarre okay my dad spend his whole freaking life burning his blood and sweat to earn this basic minimum level of livelihood then why should he spend it all on just one day of ONE of his daughters?...and we r THREE sisters mind u...so just imagine...he wld have to do this FOR ALL OF US...and its cruel its unfair...at least I won't let him do this...instead of spending so much on a damned wedding I wld rather he gives us something special and saves the rest for himself and mom...annd we are completely firm and up front and direct and straight forward about this..we say it straight on the faces of future prospects that we would NOT ENTERTAIN any dowry what so EVER...and whatever we give our daughter on her wedding that is OUR gesture of love for HER and nothing else...and thats for HER not her in laws or her husband...it is a symbol of our love for HER...do not materialize it we r not doing a business deal here we r hoping to find our daughter's soul freaking mate...

So plz guys don;'t succumb to this...sometimes we girls and our fmailes fele so damned insecure if we don't get married...we feel as if we have lost all purpose in life and we are wasted..and in that feleing we agree to any damned thing...but that shouldn't be the case...not being married is NOT the end of the world people...but marrying for the wrong reasons marrying coz u have to marry...that wld definitely be the end of the world...so plz don't...plz don't feel that coz u r girls u just have to marry and u wld have to agree to everything the other party demands...NO U DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS...u r strong independet on your own too u do not need a lame ass man to define your identity...so have the guts to say no no matter how good the prospect is have the damned guts to say no...if the other party demands even TEN RUPEES as dowry throw them the HELL OUT people just throw them the hell out...and remember its not about a WEDDING its about the MARRIAGE...wedding lasts just one damned night but marriage might last forever and all u need for that is just trust respect and love NOTHING ELSE

and what Aamir just now said...that everyone specially the filthy rich oens if they start doing a simple sober yet beautiful serene soulful wedding then this whole curse cna be cured in an instant...because the poor the disadvantaged won't fele the pressure to match up with the big and privileged and they wld not be compelled to go beyond their means to do this one unimportant thing..I say UNIMPORTANT because like I said its about the years and years of marriage its about going through freaking life together...AND NOT ABOUT A DAMNED WEDDING

so ya BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO for saying that...I don't know about others but at least we three sisters r DEFINITELY going to do this...we don't even mind getting married in a freaking court/city hall at least I don't and am sure my sisters won''t either specially if it means a better life for our parents in their old age...because its not abt the damned WEDDING...m saying this like a broken record coz somewhere sine our very childhood we girls have this dream of the perfect weddings...and thats nothing wrong in it...absolutely nothing wrong...everyone does that..but as we grow evolve that dream and make it better...lets not dream about the perfect WEDDING lets dream about a perfect MARRIAGE ...

ps...I know m talking to passionately this is a subject I FEEL PASSIONATE about coz we are three sisters and my parents might have to face this they already have begun facing it but it is my freaking agenda to make sure no damned one dares to do any crappy stuff with us and our family...we would not entertain it...helll if we come across a prospect who has the audacity to demand even one penny then trust me guys I wld go to as extreme an end as freaking reporting that prospect and his family to the police and I MEAN that!
