PART -4

When they finally entered RM, no one stood up, as by that time they had paid due respects to HP, OP, the washerman and who not... so chances that it was them weren't much, turned out it was them after all...this noticed, after anjali casually turned around to see the entry...

"CHOTTE!"

which soon turned to a-

"CHOTTE??"

as she caught sight of the unconscious khushi..

while Payal panicked, Anjali immediately got into the big sister mood..

"Humne aise lane kaha tha aapko inhe??"

ya right..went on in Arnav's head...setting up the entire AR group to be what it was today had clearly not been proof enough for his sister that he had brains. Of course, hitting khushi upon the head with a sledge hammer , was the only thing that could have dawned upon him as a means of bringing her back! Unbelievable...

he didn't think the question deserved a reply so just moved upstairs, the family followed..

the way every one, specially Arnav , was going berserk, looked like khushi had not fainted but god only knew what... and Arnav moved about with such a guilty look stuck to his face, it looked as if the sledge hammer accusation had some truth in it...

plus every now and then, someone or the other wanted to know exactly how had she fainted, and everytime his colour rose, and he attributed it once to the weather, next to her hunger( almost everybody raised an eyebrow at this), third time gave an equally lame excuse and the fourth time 'whatever!"

khushi slowly opened her eyes...

they were all bending in on her face, like doctors on the patient at an operation table..

khushi sprang up immediately resulting in her head colliding with paayal and Anjali's...two people who had been taking interest in her facial movements for the past 15 minutes as if it would suddenly change into something different altogether...

Arnav rushed towards the bed..

"tum...tum thik ho?"

khushi, who was in the process of slowly playing the episode of the past few hours in her mind shot up her head at him..

*silence *

*uncomfortable silence *

*okay, very uncomfortable silence *

entire Raizada audience confused...What was happening..?

"aap...kya...hamein...kaise...hum.."

Arnav wanted to just somehow shut her up.

"paani!"

"kya?"

"paani lo!"

she silently took the glass in her hands...

this was ridiculous! Was what went through Arnav's mind.. if this was how she was planning to react to everything he did or said off the line..he could see a very pretty picture of the future lying ahead of them..

"khushiji aap theek toh hain na?"

khushi again looked at Arnav.

"haan di...hum.."

"chotte ek minute.."

...

she took him to the pool area

"kya hua?"

"what?"

"kya kaha aapne?"

"kuch nahi.."

"idher dekhye...sach boliye"

"di, I just said it"

"kya?"

he kept staring..just understand!..she did..

and then she could almost kill him with her laughter, hugs , happy victorious fists in the air..and every two seconds "hame toh vishwaas nahi...hamare chotte?"

...

after 1o minutes they re entered..

suddenly the bell rung..

"oh ..khushiji keh ghar wale a gaye honge.."

"WHAT?"

"KYA?"

the two spoke in unison...

"haan who.." anjali hesitated..

"chotte!"anjali brought him out of his trance..

arnav looked at her..

"aap khushi ji ke saath rahiye...hum aate hain.."

"ya..ya fine"

the entire crew moved downstairs..

okay, uncomfortable silence continues..

"tum"

"aap"

their telepathy was working overtime today..

"go ahead"

"aap.."

just then the glass tumbled to the ground..

"are.."

"khushi that can wait..mai.."

interruption again..paayal..wow, just wow!

"khushi niche ana zara"

"paayal but.."

"hum aate hain jiji..chaliye.."

…...

Arnav literally strode across the room in anger..what the...they had brought her up...spent years with her..couldn't they just let her be..and what were they discussing by the way? The battle of plassey? Hell, what was taking so much time?

Enough..they could discuss with her whatever they had to discuss with her later..right now he has something really far important than that to talk about..just 10 minutes..that's it...after that he was going downstairs..

after 5 minutes, Arnav Singh Raizada was going downstairs...

Part 3 loved it, she goaded him till she got an answer and then trust Khushi to faint at that moment in shock 😆
