In reality the scenario is different. It is easy to say hit or slap the person but execution is not so easy...specially when the person is one from the family. Shyam type of people do exist in real world who r jst looking for a chance to act upon...

I think he love the money the most, but I do believe he loved her at one point -remember when he saw a bit of the blanket stuck in something by the pool, and he realized that one of Arshi was sleeping outside, he was very happy, and he said - that means I can live with you. I believe he wanted to marry her.
