Sid picked up her call on the first ring .

"Bhabhi , how are you ?"

"Sid ' what happened ? Abhi kahaan hai ?" 😊

"Right here in the room and why are you asking ."

"You , you called me bhabhi in front of Abhi , Sid ?"

Sid could hardly suppress his smile at the other end .

"So ?"

"What will he think ?"

"Oh, bhai knows everything . "

"What does he know ?"

"You damn well know what bhabhi . Don't make me say it out loud in front of him ." , Sid said in a teasingly serious tone , finding it hard to control his laughter anymore . Abhi was listening to his conversation , suitably relaxed against his bed's headrest . He had been waiting for Nikki's call all along , waiting to just hear her effervescent voice again . She had been gone for a few hours ; but to him the time seemed like eternity .😊 Sid was there and he was brilliant company in that dreary hospital room , but Abhi's mind needed no stimulant to wander in Nikki's direction . He was missing her already '

Nikki's heart rate rose rapidly at Sid's words . Sid was calling her "bhabhi" right in front of his brother . What did that mean ?

"You told him , didn't you Sid ?"

"Told him what ?"

"That I love.."😃

Sid burst out laughing at how quickly she had reached that bizarre conclusion even as Abhi's impatience began to grow rapidly , at Sid and Nikki's easygoing conversation , peppered with that intoxicating and innocent word "bhabhi " . All he wanted to do at that moment was snatch that phone from Sid's hands and talk to her . But what would he say to her ? There were so many things ' and yet , he did not know from where he should even start .

Love this ... SId manuplating her in blurting out her love and Abhi listening to the convo and waiting to talk to Nikki ...

again amazing ...wat wld he sy to her ... hai !

"Why don't you ask him yourself 'bhabhi' ?" , Sid's naughty words cut off his train of thoughts instantly and he looked at him uncomprehendingly .

Before Nikki could react , Sid had thrust his cell phone into Abhi's hands . She could recognize his silence and for a while ,as they listened to just the sounds of each other's soft breathing .😍

"Hi" , Nikki broke the silence at last .

"Hi " , Abhi responded in a voice so husky that Nikki could almost feel its vibrations crawl under her skin .😊

"How are you feeling now?"

"Perfectly fine . Thanks ."

"OK . I just' just wanted to check before I get into the OR . Take care Abhi ."

He found all his residual resistance dissolve with every word she uttered .

"Abhi , Abhi , I'll need to leave now . Take care . I'll talk to you later . Say Bye to Sid." , Nikki said suddenly and disconnected the call . He stared at the cell phone's screen , hugely disappointed that she had left , wanting to hear her voice , wanting to experience her concern for him .😍

"Bhai ?"

He looked up at Sid and looked back at the cell phone and then realized what he was doing . He quickly pretended to gather himself and handed the cell phone back to Sid , trying to play around with the bandage on his arm , unable to ignore his distractedness . 😊

"Bhai , everything OK ? " , Sid asked , as he saw uneasiness spread on his brother's face , wondering why their conversation had ended so quickly .

"Yes , yes . Nikki had to leave to the OT . I think that is the reason she hung up ." , he said eagerly and then realized that he wasn't talking as much to Sid as much as he was trying to convince himself . God ! What was happening to him ? Where did all this incoherence and anxiety come from? 😊And why did it end up being so alluring '

"You miss her bhai , don't you ?" , Sid's words made him snap out of his stupor and he looked up . Of course he was missing her and yet running away from that acknowledgment . Why was he so unsure of accepting that fact ? If Sid could understand him , why was he refusing to do the same himself ? 😊

"Yes I do ." , he said finally and Sid smiled happily . This was definitely a first step . It could only get better from here .

"Yes bhabhiji , bhai is absolutely fine . Junior doctor ko achchisi daant sunaake , he has just fallen asleep ."

"Junior doctor ko daata ? Why ?" , Nikki asked , shaking her head with amusement at Abhi's antics .

"Oh that guy wasn't able to read his reports properly and you know bhai's standards , don't you ?" 😛

Abhi walked into the living room and switched on the TV when he saw Sid , all dressed up and happy .

fine that sid is dressed up ..and Abhi ... is he in his red shirt ...??


"Date ? Who agreed to go on a date with you ?"😊


"Dr Nikita eh ? Well , speaking of her , does she know that you are leaving me alone and going out on a date ?" , Abhi asked naughtily even as the softness of Nikki's thoughts subconsciously filled up his mind .😍

"Bhai , you are not going to be alone . She will soon be here to give you company . The meal is cooked for you two ."😊


"Bhai , kahaan kho gaye ? You need to be wide awake to welcome bhabhi and please bhai make good use of this opportunity , you know , well you know what'." , Sid said cheekily and rushed out of there , leaving a stunned (and blushing) Abhi behind.👏 Sid is too briliant

SId is so akalmand , he surprised his bro by inviting Nikki and Nikki by dissapearing and leaving her alone with Abhi ... wow SId u r a ⭐️

She was expecting Sid's smiling face on the other side of the door , only to see Abhi open the door for her . He silently stepped aside to let her in , even as his eyes were fixed on her all the while , taking in her appearance appraisingly .

She turned around abruptly when she heard the click of the door being locked . Something told her that it was just the two of them inside the house and this realization made her blush suddenly .😊

"Where is Sid ?" , she said foolishly , worried that if she stayed silent for a little longer , she would end up doing some serious damage to her senses which were already being attacked by his gaze and his clean shaven appearance . 😊

"Sid's out on a date ." , he said blandly and Nikki's eyes lit up with joy .

"Date ? With Tamanna ?"

"How do you know ?

"I knew it all the while . Remember I told you once too . "

"But you never said it was Tamanna . I thought it was someone else ."

"Someone else ? Who ?"

He almost said "You" ,😃 but stopped himself . Because it was impossible to think over anything for long enough with the way she looked that night .😊 Stunning was the word . That white dress enclosed her petite body with such an irresistible mixture of sultriness and innocence , that he was unable to take his eyes off her .

"What about the dinner ? Should I order or make something then ? " , she asked suddenly

"Dinner's ready . Sid cooked it before he left ."

"So he was serious .😆 I thought he was just fooling around when he told me that he will be cooking . God ! He is one complete clown." , she shook her head in amazement and then smiled at him .

"Yes he sure is a clown . " , he smiled back at her and for a while they just stood there watching each other amidst all the tranquility .

"I'll go serve dinner then ." , Nikki said bashfully as she finally spotted the look of open admiration in his eyes .

he stepped into the kitchen gingerly , almost worried that an extremely ugly mess would await her there . Instead , what greeted her was a perfectly clean and shiny kitchen , with everything set in its rightful place . Sid's menu comprised of tuna casserole , garlic spaghetti and chicken biryani with rasgulla for dessert. It was an odd little combination ; 😃

.And just then she saw his arm raise up against her own arm , easily getting to the plates .Her hand dropped down in reflex but before she could move away , his other arm was against her waist , almost trapping her against the platform's edge . She stiffened for a few seconds , trying hard to maintain at least an inch's distance from it . But , even after the plates were brought down and put down on the platform , he refused to move away from there , refused to let her go . Left with no other option , she gradually relaxed herself against his arm , causing her waist to come in slight contact with it . She could feel a slight tremor in that arm and she was almost delighted that she was the sole cause for that to happen .

Abhi watched her delicate frame trapped against him . She was so adorably tiny and she made him feel all the more powerful . Her hair was so beautiful and her smell sweet and yet intoxicating . His eyes moved up to her profile and the long , pearl earrings dangling in her ear caught his attention . Inadvertently his fingers moved there and gently grazed it . Nikki's eyes closed at that sensuous touch and the next second he knew he had removed the earring and kissed that spot on her ear softly , causing her to tremble and lean further against his arm . His cheek brushed against her hair as he continued to shower soft kisses on her earlobe , quite enjoying the weight of her body against his arm . It was a good thing that his left arm was unhurt , he thought to himself , as he placed a soft kiss against the back of her earlobe and heard her sigh inexplicably . As he let his lips off her ear , he bunched her hair together and let it rest on her other shoulder. Before she could react , his lips were on the exposed part of her shoulder , teasing and authoritative . Nikki helplessly leaned against his arm , her eyes closed , her lips slightly parted , as he continued to kiss her softly . Her eyes opened abruptly when she felt his lips move up against her neck . She could feel sensations that she had never felt before as a light moan escaped from her mouth and she tilted her head towards him in an attempt to give him better access ' It took her a while to realize what she was doing ; but before she could turn away , Abhi , as if he had understood her intentions , had quickly turned her around and trapped her against the kitchen platform by putting both his arms around her waist . As she looked up at him , a mixture of fright , excitement , desire and most importantly love in her eyes , he bent down and captured her mouth with a sense of urgency . Nikki saw her knees almost give away under the pressure of his soft and tender kisses . She held onto the platform for support , but soon her arms were up and against his neck , as she let go off all her reservations and kissed him back hungrily . His hands were on her waist now and were holding her as if she solely belonged to him . Nikki loved how secure his action made her feel. She loved how even without saying a word to her , he had almost convinced her that she did mean something to him . As her fingers roamed the length of his back and as his kisses grew more passionate and sizzling , Nikki saw herself being transported into an alternate universe , where only Abhi and she existed . She was so in love with him , so wanted to be with him . She clamped his back desperately as his teeth gently nibbled the center of her lower lip . This was sweet agony and she had already succumbed to its effects . "I love you Abhi." , she mumbled against his lips , completely unaware of the fact that she had just said those four words.
