Hi guys!!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all, for those positive comments and pm's. They really make my day! For some reason, the number of likes have decreased considerably, I dunno maybe my story is getting boring or something?
But since I have started it, I'll continue with my original plan! The thing is that the readers might find an update short or a quick read, but it takes a lot of imagination and time to write it out and edit it. So all I wanted was some feedback, negative and positive both.
Okay part 6 is as follows.

Part 6:
"Us din sey man tumhey galat samajhta raha...but...today I know Khushi, I know how much do you love me!"
"Aap ko kaisey..."
"Bas I know...lekin...kya tum mujhey maaf karsakti ho, Khushi? For all those time I have hurt you? Pehley din se ab tak?"
She moves back on the bench a little...creating distance between them...takes a deep breath...
The light in Arnav;s eyes seemed to have gone dim...He hadn't even said what he intended to and she was already getting far...
"Arnav jee!" She looks up. "Maaf karney ka to ab sawaal hi nahin banta!"
"Khushi I know mainey bohut..."
"Kyunke ab humara hisaab baraabar ho gaya hai!" She says in her chirpy self. she was back to teasing her laad governor.
"Huh?"
"Agar hum aap se naraaz they bhi, tou hum ney kaunsa aap ko kam tang kya hai, Arnav Jee? Tou hisaab barabar hua na?"
"Par Khushi it's not just that, please..."
She comes near to hold his hands in hers.
"Dekhiye Arnav Jee, hum dukhi ya naraaz sirf un logon se hotey hain jin ki hum parwa kartey hain aur hum tou... eik doosrey sey pyaar kartey hain na! Agar hum ap sey naraaz hui to kya hogaya? Itna tou haq banta hai na humara ap par...tou phir yeh haq aap bhi humsey nahin cheen saktey, suna app ney? Issi tarah aap ka bhi poora haq hai hum par Arnav Jee! Ab bhi hai aur pehley bhi tha...aur jo hua woh guzar chukka hai...ab jo hai woh aaj hai, bas!"
She spoke with such a pure heart that Arnav wanted to cry out loud. This was the girl who you mistrusted. Look how much she loves you. She doesn't even want to talk about the past. Just one "I love you" and she has already forgotten all that you did to her.
"But Khushi..."
"Arnav Jee, eik to aap ne bagair kisi gift k "I...umm...woh jo bhi" bola! Itni bari dukaano ki chain hai aapki, aur kanjoosi...chi chi, Mr Arnav Singh Raizaada!
"Acha Mrs. Raizaada? Maine thori dair pehley poora ka poora 6 foot ka aadmi tumhey gift kardiya...ab aur kisi gift ki kya zarurat?"
"Dhanivaad aap ka Swami!" She slides her arm into his and tugs him to get up.
"Woh paani poori wala dekha aap ne...chalain uthey! Iss khush khabri par...Kuch khata ho jaey?!
"Why not, Khushi! Aaj Mausam hai suhaana,
Biwi ko paani puri khilane ka hai bahaana
What the What the What the..." sings Arnav perfectly, with Khushi on his side.
"Aey Devi Mayaan, kahin hum sapna to nahin dekh rahey, Arnav Jee aur gaana?!"

It was a pleasant drive back home with Arnav and Khushi holding hands and talking openly about anything and everything except for the tiff between them that was history for Khushi but not for Arnav as yet. He did not want to bring the subject up again today but he was adamant to tell her the whole truth sometime soon. The knot in his stomach was still there and he laughed half-heartedly with her. But with half the burden gone, he felt relatively peaceful than he had in years. The love of his life, Khushi was with him at last, what more could he ask for...except...well... forgiveness!
They entered Shantivan holding hands as the Mrs. did not want him to leave her. The family saw a much peaceful Arnav and a glowing Khushi hand in hand. They teased them while thanking and praying to god to keep them happy forever.
"Anjali bitiya, dekh rahi hain aap k chotey kitney badal gaye hain apan maeykan se lout kar?" said Nani.
"Jee Nani, yeh to koi aur hi chotey lag rahey hain! Khushi Jee, yeh humare chotey hi hain na..koi aur u nahin?"
Khushi gives a searching look to Arnav from head to toe before saying, "Haan Di, wahi hain'...akhir Devi Mayaan ne aisa eik hi piece tou banaya hai, kyun?"

After dinner, Arnav remained in the hall working on his laptop, much to Khushi's dismay. The least she expected from her husband who had declared his love for the first time a few hours ago. She jerked her head and instead of going to him, she went to her room straight from the kitchen.
She took out a brand new red sari from her wardrobe and went to take a bath. Their suhaagraat and the Delhi main baali honeymoon, both had turned out to be disasters but tonight had to be "the" night! She thought while humming her favourite song,
Kabhi dikhe zameen pey, kabhi woh chaand pe...
(Her initial reaction to his "I Love You too!" was nothing romantic. She had hugged him for finding comfort in him, and also because she was at peace at last! These three months, they had become so close in a different way, despite their differences, that her reaction was natural considering she was in love with him for so long even before he was in love with her (that's what Khushi thinks).)
But tonight, she would love him like he deserved.

Main rakh loon baandh ke eik saans mein,
Dhadkanon ke paas mein
Haan paas mein, ghar banaaye haey bhule yeh jahaan
She would get dressed for only him for the first time in the colour of a bride. The bold thought brought a shy smile on her face but, whatever, she would become his tonight, in every sense. Arnav Jee never told his inner feelings to anyone. His "I love You" that came out from the blue, was a miracle in itself and she would not lose him now.

Khushi came out dressed in the beautiful red sari.
The wet, slightly wavy hair gave her a natural look. She opted to go for minimal jewellery and was almost done with her makeup when the door flew open. She looked on to find Arnav stopped dead in his tracks. He was taken in by surprise but a pleasant one...a mesmerizing one!
Khushi who had been imagining what not during her bath started getting confused now, her gaze lowered, her palms already wet with sweat. She dared to look up and saw Arnav locking the door and throwing his laptop on the table. She looked in the mirror and saw him coming towards her from behind. She could not take her eyes off him this time and waited with bated breath. Arnav came but stooped down on the dressing table. Khushi looked questioningly and saw him taking a pinch of sindoor. When she understood, a shy but satisfactory smile appeared on her face. Arnav came closer, his eyes filled with the colours of his love for her, with passion and the feeling of content that Khushi was dressed so beautifully for him...only and only him.
He put the sindoor in the parting of her hair and without any warning, kissed her on the slightly wet forehead...Hona tha pyaar...
He carefully cupped her face in both his palms, Khushi's heart in her throat now...the dhak dhak could be heard by Arnav and her warm breath that released with every kiss could be felt on his throat.
He kissed again...this time on both eyes...Hona tha pyaar...Hua mere yaar...
At this, Khushi unknowingly slid her arms from underneath his and hugged him...Hona tha pyar...Hua mere yaar...
Arnav's hands left her face and went beneath her wet hair on her bare behind. Both thinking of all the times they had been close but this feeling was special. Aaye nazar Chehre hazaar...Hona tha pyaar...
Arnav still holding her by the waist, gave moist pecks beginning from her cheek to the backside of her neck, while Khushi was losing herself to him, one of her hands around his neck while the other moving on his waist. She was trembling with emotions when he held her closer to himself and broke into a kiss.
The incomplete task of Diwali now accomplished.

A few tears of happiness, of becoming complete dripped from her eyes. The hatred, the difficult times bygone...now it was just him and herself! She responded with equal fervor though it was a new experience for her but the love she held for him was not new.

Arnav broke apart to let her breathe. He did not miss her flustered face or the twinkle in her eyes when he reached for her hand and pulled her towards the bed. They stood opposite each other and Arnav leaned towards her until she fell on the bed, Arnav over her almost.

Arnav began kissing her once again all over her neck, lower and lower until Khushi reached upwards to undo her saari for him when Arnav suddenly stopped her doing that by putting his hand over hers. She frowned, unable to understand, while he got up, settling into a sitting position, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
