Narayani Shastri's sarees in PSH

For a Bedni and that too aging one and hustling daily for ends to meet, she is wearing too expensive sarees! Infact the best of all the sarees. She has been wearing Pure Silks most of the time interspersed with good cottons too. I am noticing bark silks and the other day the bottle-green one is Kanchi Silk with the Temple Border.

Narayani must be enjoying her wardrobe.

Well she is supposed to be a bedni so😉😆 so she gets the best wardrobe other bednis dont.

Welcome on PSH forum Shri. shri this is part of the show though her sarees are good and expensive one for a being a bedni,but the way she wears,and carry it is like a poor lady. i like this actress,and yes in serials leads mom never gets old,they remain always and young forever.😉

And in response to your post, they could also be gifts from the thakur. I am sure it is not all business with them as she claims rights over him and he genuinely cares how she is doing when she falls ill. They have had a relationship of years, despite the fact that generations of newer models have come and gone. There is definitely something there. He probably gifts her sarees and jewellery on festivals, and instead of buying sarees for daily wear, she uses those?

Just hazarding a guess, but I will have to look up if that is normal for the bedhnis..
