No you are right Annie, it is very difficult to overlook how this track will be progressing in the future and how Kunal again will end up saying sorry and thanks to his great wife who had been right all along and he was the one who didn't see things clearly just like they have done it in the past. Whether it was their very first case against each-other, it was Siddhi who eventually got her hands on the evidence (CD) and handed it to Kunal's assistance or else Kunal would have been standing defeated and incompetent in the court room, or be it the rape case where it was again the great Siddhi eventually prevailing and getting Rohit to testify in Kunal's favor making Kunal again look like an incompetent lawyer and person. Now the same story will be repeated once again where Siddhi will solve all the pieces puzzles and bring out the truth in front of all making Kunal look like an idiot again.
However, in spite of all this, If there is something good to say about Samir's performance, I just can't hold myself back and that is my only weakness. I still want Cvs to know that we are not at all pleased with the current turn of events in Parichay and demand to bring back Kunal Chopra, the male protagonist in center again.
I agree with both of you on how current track is making Kunal look like an idiot. Once again as viewers we know much more than every character on the show. We all want to kill Gaurav right now for his deviousness and blame Kunal for believing his brother. I am able to separate myself from such bias. I agree this issue should have been handled better so we still see Kunal as smart man he is to be and EMA issue leading to sensible MU between Sinal. To tell you the truth I have seen couples fighting for more stupid reason than what we witness on Parichay, but that's not the point.
Now Siddhi always prevailing and making things happen. Let's take closer look at it. In Rohit's case yes Siddhi is one who saved the day. How did that add to Kunal's Parichay? We know Kunal lost zest for life because of the rejection from his love. Here Siddhi was one person who put her job, life, status on line to help Kunal. Why? Because she knew Kunal is right and she highly respects his ethics. Richa rejected Kunal for being ethical man. A stranger valued this quality of Kunal and helped him uphold his status and ethics. By also helping Kunal's family, Siddhi gained respect in Kunal's eyes. FOr the first time Kunal said sorry to a girl he hated and thought this person is not as bad as perceived and we may things in common. This was progression for Kunal and his Parichay, ok to trust someone else without fear of pain.
The Richa case, it wasn't Siddhi who won the case, but Kunal's WIFE who won the case. Also Siddhi sure made few attempts to help Kunal on her own, she failed. First Kunal tricked Thakarl in letting Siddhi fight the case, found CD, Siddhi's mahanta made kidnapping happen so Kunal had to help her. I give you guys that Siddhi convinced Rohit to testify, but only Siddhi can take her case back, Kunal can't. When Siddhi won the case, it was FOR Kunal. Now Kunal had true love beside him, who believes in him and will always stay with him no matter what. Having such support is much valuable than money, status and so much more. It is THE reason why many people can live a mediocre life, because they have strong support. Don;t you think it would have made some impact on Kunal's Parichay for knowing that HIS WIFE is willing to risk all for HIM?
I agree with you guys that at times Siddhi takes the lime-light and we see Kunal just standing there with no contribution. But so far I have seen that by the end, Kunal has made more contribution than anyone else. We must remember that whatever Siddhi does, it's for Kunal and Kunal only. Even her insistance on EMA is because She wants Seema to know truth, since Seema has contributed great to her relationship with KUNAL. I too am frustrated by the way CVs handled Kunal in last few weeks. I liked this EMA track as it puts Kunal in middle, one side is his wife and other is his family. Don;t you think outcome of this issue will make some impact on Kunal's Parichay. Each time the trust issue is becoming more and more complex. I agree that Kunal should be shown investigating and gathering more evidence. I myself don;t want to see Kunal angry for 2 weeks and all of a sudden he realizes truth and says sorry. No i want him to take initiative and take steps few steps from past and some improvise. In this process they should show Siddhi has support ( as seen in past). Of course Kunal can't be shown doing everything on his own, that would be same stupid mahanta factor. On the whole more attention should be on Kunal. at times we only remember last part of track and give all glory to that person (as in rape case) without counting for overall contribution.
I do think professional life should have importance here, but I like to see more improvement in personal life. May be because of my education background and small town mentality, but that's called individual opinion. I hope that CVs are now on damage control mission and trying to find a logical way to put Kunal in center again. Writing a male centric show is anything but easy, but what was promised has to be delivered.
I sense that majority of members on this forum have been so much agony due to torture of last few weeks so it is understandable for being mad to say the least. I am glad that such posts are here that also point out few good things CVs are doing. This way we cam remind them you know how to do thing, just need to extend it to the WHOLE show.
