SS: Arnav reads...(FIRST NIGHT SPECIAL UPDATE P95) - Page 18

Kal se I have been wanting to write the SS. I could not study anymore and took off a break. I know that's bad, but I couldn't stay away any longer especially with the new Rabba Ve on air now (haha LOL!) and khushi's tearful eyes and Shyam's evil grins (UFF, yeah, I know!!!)

Okay, it is kind of a short update but I have planned the next part too. It depends on when I get the time to update next. Here it goes.

They were walking down the stairs when he said,

"Hum abhi ghar nahin jaa rahey Khushi...I...I have to tell you something!" He bites his lip. Khushi's heart is beating fast on sensing his tension but she manages a smile while nodding at him.

"Devi Mayaan, rakshaa karna!" she says in her heart while looking at the sky.

They get in the car, fasten their seat belts. Arnav looks at Khushi for reassurance but when finds her looking at him as well, he bites his lip again and starts the car...

"Arnav Jee hum gaari main bhi bhet gaye hain, ab tou bataye?" Khushi asks impatiently.

Arnav gets uncomfortable and continues to look ahead saying,

"Khushi, maine kaha na if u trust me tou ..plz wait...ill tell u when we get off"

Khusi frowns...and miumbles...*Yeh laad governor bhi na! Bas apni hi suntey hain, jab jee chaha haath pakar kar le aey aur gaari main bhitadiya! Par bataey gey nahin... Aey Devi Mayaan, kya baney ga humaara?*

"Theek hai jaise aap ka hukum Swami! Waisey...kahin bhagaa kar tou nahin le jaarahey?" She asks to irritate him

Arnav;s lips broke into a smile...but a sad one! *sab pata chalne k baad bhi, will she talk to me like that?*

"Aaj mausam hai suhana...

Bhaga le jaana ka hai bahana...

La La La La ..."

Arnav gives her the ASR look and she stops immediately.

"Umm theek hai...par radio tou laga saktey hain na ya us par bhi paabandi hai? khud to eik baat nahin kartey aur kisi aur ko bhi..."

Arnav nods...*she wants to enjoy every moment of her life...how the hell am I going to tell her the truth...will she be able to remain happy, after knowing the truth?*

Khushi meanwhile switches on the radio...

"Kaisey bataayein, Kyun tujhko chahe

(Arnav steals a glance to Khushi)

Yaara bata na paayein

(at the wedding night)

Baatain dilon ki, dekho jo baaki

Aake tujhe samjhaein

Tu jaane na aaa tu jaane na

(This was truly how he was feeling at the moment)

Mil ke bhi, hum na mile

Tumse na jaane kyun,

(Khushi unintentionally looks sideways at Arnav'remembers the night they almost kissed)

Meelon ke hai faasle tumse na jaane kyun

(Remembers how he shut her out on their suhaagraat)

Anjaane hain silsile tum se na jaane kyun,

(all the rabba ve's)

Sapne hain palko taley tum se na jaane kyunnn...

Khushi reaches out and swiches off the radio..

*Kyun main inn k baarey main soch rahi hun? inhey tou andaaza bhi nahin k main un se kitna...hoga bhi kaisey aur kyun? yeh to mujhse nafrat kartey hain...contract ki shaadi ki hai inhon ne humse, koi asal wali nahin jo... aur yahaan humare sapney hi khatam nahin ho rahey...hnn!*

She starts to look out takes a deep breath..

Arnav could now understand what she was going through. He reached out his left hand to comfort her, to tell her that *she was not wrong in loving him, but no...she deserves to know the whole truth* and put his hand back on the steering wheel.

He stops the car near a park. Khushi looks around in surprise.

'Yeh kahan aagaye hum, Arnav Jee?'

'Chalo utro, pata chal jaaega!'

Khushi looks at him...hua kya hai inhain aj...kahin Jiji ya Jijaji k barey main to kuch nahin batana?

She opens her mouth but Arnav was already walking ahead of her. She follows until he stops near a bench.

"Betho!" he says.

She was quite irritated by now but sits.

"Ab bataeyngey bhi ya phir us k liye bhi koi muhurat nikalna parega?"

"Umm" He sits down next to her. "Haan..Khushi I...have to..." His mouth had gone dry!

She was looking at him directly in the eye..

He shifts uncomfortably on the bench'and began staring at the grass.This is the time! You have to tell her everything! Come on!

"Khushi I'love you too!!!!" "WHAT THE F%&*K??? Did I just say that??? Me? He was shocked himself...I wasnt supposed to say this only! He stole a glance at Khushi but could not take his eyes off her face...to say that she was stunned would be an understatement! Her mouth and eyes wide open and frown lines on her forehead! But when she realizes that he's staring back, she blushes...very hard! Her eyes were blinking, though now at the grass beneath her feet, her body trembling and her face as red as a tomato...

He couldn't deny that he loved seeing the after effects of those words on her and smiled at her blushed self...but he had to tell her more...

"Khushi!" he grabs her arm to make her look at him. When she did look at him, her eyes were full of tears...

Before he knew it, one of his hands was cupped around her face. "What happened Khushi...tumhey bura laga??? I..."

And Khushi flung her arms around his waist immediately, her head buried in his chest!

She was crying...yes, but out of happiness. Of all the times she wanted Arnav Jee to say those words, she had never imagined this situation. She was crying out of relief, out of freedom...now she would no longer have to curse herself for thinking about him...to fool herself that she hated him...to dread the last day of their contract marriage...and to use Kumari Gupta in her name anymore! The last though made her chukle loudly...

Arnav who had one arm around her waist and the other stroking her hair looked down in surprise to her smiling face...

"What the?"

"Oho!" She looks up. "Ab to band kardain yeh what the, what the kehna! Humain bilkul acha nahin lagta! Aur sun lijiye ab ap ko humari har baat maani paregi"

"Kyun? Aisa kya hogaya?"

"Kya hogaya? Kya kuch nahin hua, Arnav Jee?" She gives him a fake angry look...

"Oh yes ofcourse, hua na...Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada ney mera shirt bhigo diya ro ro kar!"

"Ouch! " He exclaims for Khushi was hitting him on his chest.

He reaches out his arm to hold her tight against himself...his mind still racing with the things he had planned to tell her...the weight of the burden still there on his chest...

"Khushi?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you know merey pas tumhari pehli nishani kya thi?"

She lifts her head from his chest and looks at him happily, "Kya?"

"Woh motiyaan jo mainey Sheeshmahal main tumhare kapron sey khenchey they..."

Khushi blushes...

"Us din sey man tumhey galat samajhta raha...but...today I know Khushi, I know how much do you love me!"

"Aap ko kaisey..."

"Bas I know...lekin...kya tum mujhey maaf karsakti ho, Khushi? For all those time I have hurt you? Pehley din se ab tak?"

She moves back on the bench a little...creating distance between them...takes a deep breath...

The light in Arnav;s eyes seemed to have gone dim...He hadn't even said what he intended to and she was already getting far...
