Yup, that could be the reason for their confidence! Maybe their end product is so good, that they know it will pick up due to word of mouth publicity and do well on its own, without the need of 'paid reviews!'

Ishaqzaade has also picked up a very good price for satellite rights...the highest for a film starring rank-newcomers...that also means, the film must have something to it...else Sony won't be paying this kind of money for a television premier!

Am sure they will do the same for ETT also...Salman Khan alone will ensure the film to have a bumper opening, YRF won't be in any rush for reviews, negative or positive!

Poppy, I don't know why its not releasing worldwide tomorrow :( It might be part of some sucky promotional strategy to get to good reviews and all in the subcontinent before releasing overseas because it stars newcomers =/

And the reason why there are no reviews yet is because YRF does not hold private screenings for critics early on. That's why all critics reviews for YRF films do not show up before Friday since they see it then only.

It's released in Dubai so some public reviews might start coming out now.

I don't understand why this movie hasn't been promoted?! Has YRF become so chillar? ..

It doesn't have any major stars, they are newcomers for crying out loud. How else do they expect the movie to work? OR maybe they believe in the movie so much that they're sure it will be a sureshot bonanza.

As per some trade pundits, the film is supposed to open well, but YRF strategy is to release it in smaller numbers and see whether it picks up by word of mouth or not!

Also, YRF is playing really smart and releasing the trailer of ETT with it, which won't be released on the Net or Television till Monday...it is meant exclusively for those people who will watch Ishaqzaade in theatres! So they are hoping that even if people don't come to watch the film, they will come to watch the trailer! (Can't wonder who such people are...willing to shell out money to watch a film trailer?😕)

Low Promotions can mean two things...keeping a reign on the budget and secondly, being confident about your film, knowing that if the word spreads, it will do well on its own! (That has been the trend for the last few films, which were low on promotions but did extremely well because of positive feedback and good reviews!)

Its premiering in Dubai today...we can hope to see some twitter reviews by audience tomorrow morning!

KRK is already pulling it down by writing that there are only 6 people in the theatre to watch Ishaqzaade!😕😆
