I knew the rain episode wasn't going to help...I said so in previous post. But I didn't expect a complete botched job by the people who make this show.
From the moment Sandy took him by the hand, things went rapidly downhill.
🤓 She clasped his hand, palm to palm. That was the correct way. It showed she wanted to talk to her husband. Then they cut to camera up on a hill showing her holding him by the forearm and taking him somewhere he didn't want to go...like a school teacher taking a boy to the naughty corner. That was when it all fell apart.
The rain out of nowhere was for the next bad 'scene' - She slips, he instinctively grabs her hand...and what an abomination. She looks at him with such shock,horror and revulsion. What were the directors doing? Destroying everything. She had just taken him by the hand to bring him here, and now she's repulsed. This is why I keep saying, she's half-human. Her character and motivations make no sense to humans. Not her fault. The directors make her do horrendous things for no reason. You see, only aliens shrink from all human contact. Except, she can grab him,drag him, talk to him whenever she likes. He's her rag doll.
What was that expression on her face when he said what he said? It was just incomprehension. She cannot understand what he's on about. She cannot understand why she can't carry on being in a loveless marriage. Why talk about love...I saw not a skerrick of feeling. No regret. No sadness. No nothing. Just an immovable stance. Either she does it her way, or no way!
Director didn't make her look away or down for even a second. She's supposed to look him in the eye? That's not a human. That's not a woman. Good going CVs.
