A Night

It has been so long I haven't went to my anty's house. But somehow today I have made mayank to take me to our old home. Mayank isn't a person who goes to much to relatives house but even he is not person to say no to my pouts.. awwy I so love it when he frown and say…

" u so know how to make me say yes"

And yes I know how to make him yes…

Mayank: abhi tu hum bua se milay bhi nhi aur abhi se ap k chehray per itni barai se smile..

Nupur: han tu mein un se atleast 10 saal baad mil rahi hoon..bua hamesha humain bolti thi,… kuch saloo se tu unhony phone kerna hi band kerdiya…

Mayank: han yeah tu hain… hum bhi tu yaha nhi thay… chalo ab bua ko aram se mana layna

Nupur: han yeah bhi thik hai…. acha hua apny yeah plan khud bana liya..

Mayank: han na.. asay bua surprise bhi hojay gi.. warna Samrat kab humain inform kerta k bua ghar per hain k nhi..aur kab hum jatay… nhi bhi ho gi woh ghar per tu bhi.. we can always have our time together .alone….

Nupur: mayank… ap bhi nah…yeah rasta kitna kahmsoh hai nah….

Mayank: hmm.. raat bhi tu kafi hogai hai… islayna itna sanata hai…

Reaching there they saw a big huge mansion, yet it was pretty old and doesn't seems to be in good shapes…

Mayank: yaar yaha koi hai k bhi nhi

Nupur: bua is ghar ko maar ker bhi na choray… himat hai un ki akealy kasay rahti hain yaha

Mayank: seriously is ghar ki halat tu dekho…

It was pretty old house, maybe around 100s old. It was there family mansion, the only relative that was left was nupur's bua, who despite of everyone's request never left this house, she always said she want to dye her in her parents house… yet this has turned to spooky..

It was all dark, there were tall dark trees all around, house was away from city so there was no sound except of the kricket.. and dogs around…

The reached the door, and came down the car.. nupur was abit scary type..

Mayank: bhoo..

Nupur; aahhh.. mayank… ap bhi nah

Mayank: kya nupur … asay daar rahi hoo.. chalo bua ko dartay hain…. Wasy yaha subha anay chaiy… yeah jaga bht khabosrat lagay gi….

So much of nature all around

Nupur: mjhy tu ajeeb lag rahi hai …

Mayank: her circle his arm around her and took her to door… relax yaar.. tumhara hi ghar hai… asay kyun feel ker rahi hoo…

The hit the door bell, and waited it to be open…yet there was no response from it, they again hit it

Mayank: looks like bua agrees with my plan .. of giving us this weekend alone….

Nupur: mayank plss… kya waqi bua nhi hai..

They were standing there waitng for the door to open, yet mayank heard some foots step on the dry leaves.. he turned around and looked around.. n saw a man running towards the back..

Mayank: hey u….

The man stop and turned to him… yet mayank cant see his face….just he looked at mayank keenly… and runned away…. Mayank kept looking here and there but didn't found any one there..he frown a bit and get back to the door…

The very next moment they felt a hand on shoulder… and both were starlet ..

Mayank turned around highly surprised as when just a second before he turned there was no one…

Nupur: ahhh…

There was a woman of 50s, white haired and red eyes, messed hairs .. dressed in a white sari was standing highly close to them, looking deeply yet highly weirdly to them…

Masi: aray nupur… akhir tum ahi gain….

Nupur: haan… she was clutching to mayank hand tightly..

Masi: kya hua.. asay kya dekh rahi hoo…. Mjhy nhi pechana.. mein tumahri massi.. bua ki dost…

Nupur: oh …han.. massi ap…

Mayank: namsaty massi…he smiled…

Massi: mayankkk.. hain nah… tu tum bhi aay hoo… yeah tu aur bhi achi baat hai.. she laughed weirdly…

Mayank: ji.. massi bua ghar per nhi hain kya…

Massi: hai nah.. darwaza khola hai.. aoo andar aaoo… tumhara hi ghar hai.. yeah ghar kab se tumahra intezar ker raha hai nupur…..

She opened the a heavy wooden door, and entered into the house..

Mayank: chalo nah… kya hua hai nupur… tumahin he chuckled..

Nupur: mayank itna adhara kyun hai.. tumahin pata hai nah mera.. mjhy daar lagta hai

Mayank: aray baba mein hoon nah…

He griped her and went inside..

Mayank: masi yeah ghar mein itna andhara kyun hai.. apko pata hai na apki beti ko darr lagta hai..

He giggled and masi to joined him..

Masi: kyun bhi nupur .. asay tu nhi chaly ga.. ghar ki light tu cut gai hai.. tumahin aj raat tu andheray mein hi guzarni hai… mein candles jalti hoon..andhera tu sab k dost hota hai… ab tu humara hemsha k liyan hai

Nupur: maar gay..

Mayank: masi ap log asay kasay rehty hoo… kam se kam humain ya Samrat ko hi bata daytay… asa tu buhat muskil hota hoga…

Masi: humain kya muskil … humain tu anderay mein hi jeena ata hai.. roshini tu tum logo k liyan hai….

Nupur: bua kaha hai…

Masi: uper jao… woh apny room mein hain..

Mayank: ji.. mayank switch on his cell flash light… and griped nupur and strt climbing the stairs

They were wooden stairs and very very bad in condition.. they were carfully went up

Mayank: nupur this very bad.. tum sab ny un ko asay chor rekha hai… ghar ki halat tu dekho… bua kasay rahti hain… god..

Un k room kaun sa hai…

Nupur: woh corner wala.. mayank hum us taraf se chaplain

Mayank: kyun… pora itna lamba kyun

Nupur: kyun k yeah jo bua room se pehly wala room hai us se mjhy daar lagta hai

Mayank: god nupur tum ko har chees se daar lagta hai..shukar hai mjhy se nhi…

Nupur: mayankkk

Mayank: close ur eyes mein tum ko lay jata hoon…

Nupur: mayank

Mayank: pls… close ur eyes.. behave like a grown up..

She closed her eyes and the reached the room

Bua: agai meri beti… buhat intezar keraya hai tum ny…

Bua was siting on her rocking chair.. with her eyes close..,..yet still guess Nupur on the door

Nupur: namsaty bua.. she went near her and touch her feets… so as mayank…

Bua: yeah bhi aya hai… achaaa….

She looked at maynk with blaze.. and mayank was taken back with it…

Nupur: han bua… yeahi lay hain.. ap kasi hai.. kitni weak hogai hain ap..

Bua: hum tu ab gayab hony ko hain… bus tumhara hi intezar tha… ab sab mukal mal hojay ga

Nupur: ji..

Bua: kuch nhi.. thak ker aaii hoo… buhat lambha safar tha… aur buhat lambi raat hai ab.. hain na mayank

Mayank: ji.. per hum thik hai.. he smiled..

Bua: kya pata kab tak hoo… jao kamray mein araam kerooo… lamba aram …

Mayank was looking out side the window and saw the same man right down the window, looking strangly towards him… he shocked his head and looked back

And was strlet… he looked back down the window and than back to room… the man was standing at the door…

Mayank: yeah kaun hai

Bua: she smiled wickldy… yeah sham hai… acha hai tumhain daar laga

Mayank: he walk towards Nupur… mjhy daar nhi lagta..yeah tu apki beti k kam hai.

Bua: woh bhi dekhy gay..jao arm kero

They turned and again saw massi standing deadly close to them…

Massi: chalo mein tum ko room dekha doon…

Mayank: ji…

They were walking to there room and nupur again scream and hugged mayank.. a bat was flying towards them and it actually was almost cuming hit nupur….

Mayank: relax nupur kuch nhi hai.. he turned to look from where it has cum and found it disappear in air… but than it was so dark there must be some window..

They cum in there room, and massi lighten the candles… and went away..

Masii: aram se sona… yaha ki raatein buhat lambi hoti hai.. nupur mayank k pass hi rehna.. tumhary lyan acha hoga k nhi… per us k liyan bht acha hoga

Mayank smirk.. and said sure.. he came to nupur and hugged her from back…

Nupur: mayankk.. mein wasy hi buhat dari hoi aur tum hoo

Mayank: nupur… dekho tu zara.. asa pass kinta romantic ambiance hai.. he tighten his grip… aur massi ny bhi kaha hai k tum meray qareeb hi rehna… he kissed her neck..

Nupur: pata nhi mjhy kuch ajeeb lag raha hai…. Bua chehra itna badla sa kyun hai.. woh itni weak tu khabi nhi thi… itna k asa lag raha tha skeleton hoo… mjhy tuun ko dekh ker daar lag raha tha….

Aur woh admi jo corner per ghara tha..sham…mein ny kahin dekha hai yaad nhi araha hai

Mayank: ek baat batao… un ko mjhy se koi problem hai..

Nupur: bua chahti thi k mein Samrat yani massi k betay se shadi kero.. aur mein flat hogai tum per..

Mayank: ohh jab hi.. woh mjhy kuch khass pasnd nhi kerti….but massi has arranged so much for me…

He leaned to her and they sprang apart as the door open wide..

They were actually starlet finding bua standing there with a knife.. and the same man was standing behind her

Bua: aray daar kyun gay… yeah lo apple kaho lo.. bhook lagi hogi nah…

She went away closing the door behind…

Nupur: mayank pls hum so jay… jhaldi se subha hojay…

Mayank: chukled..thik hai .. chalo…

They lyed down on bed and nupur snuggled to him… yet she wasn't able to sleep, the sound of dogs, the leaves all was making it difficult for her to sleep…

Mayank: he placed his hand on her ear.. ab thik hai…

And she snuggled more close to him and finally sleep…

Nupur tum yeah acha nhi ker rahi hoo.. bua ko takleef hogi

Mom is k yeah matlab nhi hai k mein apni life karab kerlo.. mein aur Samrat sirf doost hain

Tu dost hi ek acha life partner proff hoga…

Per mein mayank se pyar kerti hoon pls samhjy..

Per yeah acha nhi kiya hai beta tum ny…. Yeah acha nhi kiya mayank ny…bua said looking to nupur...woh saza pay ga….

Mayank was running in the house and people were running towards mayank..he was shouting nupurs name.. asking her to run away

Mayank: nupur tum bhag jao…

All the man had fire in there hand and they were running to kill him… mayank run inside the house and climb up the stirs .. he tried to hide in the room.. and locked it.. the same man..sham appear in front of him and grip him from neck

But as soon as he turned around bua was standing there with the same knife she came in there room..

Bua: tum nhi bach sakty… she raised her hand and put the dagger in mayanks neck..

Nupur: MAYANK>>> she screamed and woke up from her dream… she was all sweating and was panting.. she looked beside her and mayank wasn't there with her…

She was scread hell scared.. she was looking all around and .. she screamed more loudly when she turned to other side and found masii sleeping with her on bed…

She hurriedly stood up and looked around… it wasn't even the same room in wch she was sleeping with mayank…

Masii: kya hua meri beti koo daar gai kiya..

She was standing deadly close to nupur and her eyes were blood red… she was herself looking dam weird…

Nupur: mayank k pass jana hai…

Masi: kaha tha na us ko .. tum ko pass rekhy… nhi rekh paya… ab tum meray pass rahy… abhi raat hai…

Nupur: mjhy jana hai…

She when looked around it was the same room to words which she has her pjobia…

Nupur: mjhy jana hai…

Bua: tum ab humary pass rehoo gi.. us k pass nhi…

She found bua standing near her….

She was getting scared hell sacred… she run to the other side of the room ..and found massi stoping her way..

Masii: kahin nhi jasakti tum…

She didn't knew wht to do… they were making her scred and they them self were weird and scary there horsy voice, red eyes and look ..all was not of them…she took the candle in her hand ..and put it near them

Nupur: mein aag laga do gi sab ko… mjhy jan hai..

They both moved a bit away from her.. and she rush to door n opend it.. she was running to her room yet again massi cam in fornt of her she was shocked.. she was at moment there and other moment somewhere else…

Massi: no way to wards him.. he is goone…

Nupur: where he is… mayank… she shouted on top most voice… but she cand see any one… yet what she saw was she was surrounded with all…

Not ony bua and masi .. but two dogs were standing her near to… she took her steps back and strt run away from the other side… reaching the room she saw no one there.. mayank wasn't there..

Nupur: MAYANKKK…. She was crying and turning searching him all over

Bua: mein ny kaha nay mera beta ..woh tumhara sath nhi hai ab…. Humary pass aoo

Nupur: mayankk… she was screaming at her top.. the only way she found was the stairs.. she was running down the stairs… the bat came on her face again , she tried to move it away from her … but in process fell from the stairs…..

Mayank was running, drench in blood.. he has to find way out to the basement.. the man was following him.. he wasn't running was just walking behind him.. mayank was highly surprised to see the speed of sham… he was attacking mayank by throwing all things that were hanged on the side walls of the place.. they were all sharp.. and were making mayank highly injured… he was so starlet to see that even if he tries to dip or move away that dagger will follow him and hit on the spot

Sham: u cant run… he was laughing out loud…

Mayank saw a wood there.. something struck his mind and he took it and try to lighten it with his lighter… after many tries just when the man was about to catch him he was able to doo.. so he moved it forward and sham back out.. as mayank turns to run… he saw a piture that made him shocked and scared for nupu…

It was Samrat n nupurs picture together in wedding dress… and beside them where bua and sham..and masi…

The next pitcture was of bua n sham.. so sham was bua's dead husband..

He didn't thought any thing and strt running out…he needs to save Nupur..

Her head got hurt.as she falls of the stairs…... bua signal the dog to run towards her.. she hurdily got up and try to climb down the stairs..

Massi: us ko ghar k bahar jan jany daynaa…

She was running when rhe woden stair broke..her leg got stuck she was crying and shouting mayanks name, and was pulling her leg out… the dog was cuming towards her and she was screaming more n more…

Just then the dog was almost there to capture her…. A wood having fire came and hit the dog.. she removed her leg and they run towards the door… mayank was standing there..bleeding badly…

She came n huged him

Nupur: mayank tum ko kiya. Hua hai

Mayank: nupur yaha kuch thik nhi hai… chalo yaha se… indono ny mjhy per dogs choray.. aur mera sir per kcuh mara.. jab mein utha tu log meray asa pass thy.. mar rahy thy mjhy…unhony laga mein mar gaya .. tu basement mein mjy band ker k chaly gay….per than jab mein utha tu sham was there to kill me.. woh yahin hain…

Nupur: chalo yaha se pls…

Mayank: bahr chali tum car ki taraf.. jaldi… he pushed nupur out of the house , yet he masi runed like a speed jet towards him and griped his neck…

Nupur: MAYANK…

Masi: tum kahin nhi jao gi nupur… huamrya pass rahoo gi…

Mayank: nupur .. ghar se bahr rahoo..

Nupur: mayank tum…

Massi was pressing his neck.. and he was stunt to see the power she has .. he tried to push her away but it felt a heavy rock on his chest…her eyes were droping tears of blood…

Nupur was looking at him and didn't knew wht to doo..she was so sacred looking at massi face yet she was more sacred to loos him ..… she saw the fire wood near on the floor.. she griped it and it massi with it..

Masi closed her eyes and left mayank…he fell down on floor and with difficulty got up.. they both rushed to the out of the house ..just than there cll rung.. nupur look at the id it was Samrat…

Nupur: smarat tum

Samrat: nupur tum kaha hoo.. aur bua k pass nhi jasakti ab… un ko aur maa ko maray hua 5 saal hoga… ab us gahr mein koi nhi hai..

Nupur droped her cell there and she was stunt..

Nupur: mayank.. bua aur masi ki death hochuki hai,…

Mayank: janta hoon… just strt the car and rush,…

He put out the keys n gave to her…

Nupur: mein kasay mayank

Mayank: Nupur humari zindagi tumhary hath emin hai… mein drive nhi kersakt mera pair is qabil nhi hai..

Nupur pull sum courage and strt the car.. she saw all of them almost flyingly cuming to her.. mayank put the car in reverse gear..

Nupur was so dead looking this all…

He with gr9 difficulty put his feet on her and press the accelerator ..the car went back with high speed..broking the gate of mansion ..

Nupur came back from the spell.. and trun the wheel…yet she scream seeing the view at mayank side… sham was hanging on the door..half burned with the fire mayank has thrown on him and was trying to catch his neck

Mayank: Nupur yaha se bahar nikalo tu we will out of there reach… sun is about to rise..

Do it …

She did find some strength and hit his accelerate while mayank tries to make sham off the car with his lighters light….

Slowly she saw sham's boody turning to dust as sun was rising ….

Mayank was breathing heavily… she was panicking

Mayank: donot panic dear.. I am fine… yaha highway per ek hospital hai…

Nupur: I'll make it there.. kuch nhi hoga tum ko

They reached the hospital and mayank was given treatment… he was deeply injured and was very weak to even move..

Nupur was allowed to meet him, she just rushed to him and hugged him tight and cried..she was still shivering with the experience she had this night…

Mayank: hey I am fine… bora spana tha Nupur

Nupur: mayank mjhy kuch samhj nhi araha hai…. Samrat ny kaha k bua ki death hochuki hai

Mayank: janta hoo.. sham bua k husband tha…

Nupur: haan… tum thik kah rahu hoo mjhy ab yaad aya

Mayank: mein ny bassment mein pictures dekhi…waha saray events ki picture this dates k sath…. Nupur ek promise kero gi…

Nupur: kya

Mayank: yeah baat kisis ko maat batnah… aur na hi aj k baad tum kahbi Samrat se milo gi ya baat kero gi

Nupur: magar samart kyun

Mayank: bus meri yeah baat manlo..

Nupur: thik hai… per mjhy is jaga ek as pass bhi nhi rhna.. mein ny shipla anty se kaha hai.. she is arranging tum ko aj hi yah se 2 hrs mein shift kerday gay..

Mayank: oki ..kuch nhi hoga.. he just hugged her and let her shivers get subsided… yet he skiped the part where in basement he saw.. another picture of him lying dead, nupur crying beside him.. dated 10 may 2012…yet what he saw next made him shiver..as a empty canvas got painted with a accident picture. Samrat dead in Delhi road accident dated 8 may 2012….and when he called his wife cuming out of basement she did confirm the news….

Sorry guys.. if u found it funny… as myself I was finding it funny rather than scary…this one is for Suja darling.. after almost 5 months I fulfilled her wish of writing horror.. that I don't feel like horror
