I got a 20 year passport back in 99...but you don't get them now as the rules have changed

My dad has a Indian passport and he renewed it in Maldives,when he was working there so he got a 20 yrs passport...so yes it's feasible to get a 20 yr passport...but as u said 10 yrs are generally the case but there are always exceptions everywhere...

yes before 2000 passport was given for 20 yrs now its only for 10 yrs

i dont think its an error asr is what right now maybe 29 or 30 so maybe usne passport 200 se pehle banaliya tha

nope its not an error! you can get 20 yrs validity for passport. You have to apply specifically for it.

There is 20 years validity passport. I am not sure if the validity is still active. The passports that were issued before 2008 or 2009 had 20 years validity. But the ones which are issued after that have only 10 years validity. So, ASR's passport doesn't have any kind of error. It's error free.
