Why are they showing this big business man, THE Ram Kapoor as such a weakling? If he is a ruthless business man, how come he doesnt know that he can sue the newspaper for printing wrong information. When he could threaten a small fry like Karthik saying he will ruin his future, how come he cannot fight the press for their mistake.
Such a big businessman, cannot go behind his wife, whom he claims to love so much, who, he caims he cannot live without, just because his mother tells him not to. Even after the love of his life belittles him and says "how long are you going to hide behind your mothers pall?"
Is he really a ruthless and shrewd business man. Please show a stronger Ram Kapoor. The story doesnt seem to match.
Infact, he should see beyond Niharika Kapoor and her brother and son. Why does he have to depend on his wife to do that.
I am a bit disappointed with the evolving of Rams character.

I feel Ram's character took a nose dive from the morning after the consummation night scene. We all know that Ram as a character has hang-ups, but I still haven't forgiven him for is pathetic behaviour towards Priya in the morning. After finally bonding after a special night together, he behaved like a moody cowboy. I can't believe that the CVs have not rectified that as yet.

Ram has been shown of recent to be spineless, heartless and senseless. Well, good luck to him in the coming track!!!

The downward spiralling of Ram's character was definitely post the C episode..but then they sort of rectified it during the Holi hug and the 'sacchi' scene on the bed...post that we only had BDs..the reason his character is not developing is because he is constantly away on his shooting for SOTY and if they incorporate any last minute changes he cant be involved...he is back now but his character has become worse...suddenly he has become a total mama's boy..er man...they dont need to show his character as weak to make Priya look good...but this is too bad...

The worst insult a man can get is his wife telling him in front of the whole family to leave his mother's pallu...and he still didnt get it..

I agree with you partly. Ram although is a shrewd businessman, he has always been dependent on Niharika to take care of certain things. Like for eg. couldn't he have handled Apeksha himself, why does he have to call Niharika and that too on his honeymoon to take care of Apeksha . In the episodes before Ram and Priya's wedding also Vikram has been shown to mention it a number of times that Ram does every thing that his mom asks him to do, and doesn't question her at all. So he has always been that way.
Plus he might be shrewd when it comes to outside people and business, but he might be very emotional and weak when it comes to his family as he is constantly craving for real love from them.

I agree wit hthe post..

But, Ekta's stories always show the BIG businessmen going weak at home. I dont know how she always stereotypes her heros into successful businessmen into spineless husbands/ sons/ brothers...

stupid..
