I am really sorry for your loss, and I understand that it probably touched a nerve in several people's hearts, those who may have faced a similar situation.

I too thought about the appropriateness of the topic for all audiences, especially children. 😕

As an adult woman, I do appreciate that Khushi is considering it only because she feels that it is inevitable that Arnav will kill her, and she doesn't want to give him the satisfaction, so she will do it herself. 😒

Khusi doesn't have a lot of choices in life, and she manages to stay happy inspite of the limitations. I also found it very iorritating how buaji is constantly berating her, especially in front of Arnav 😡

It's terrible what happened to your uncle but you shouldn't get offended by this. It's a television show. In fact, I've seen many other Bollywood movies and Indian serials where suicide is shown in a comical way, this is certainly not the first time a character has done this.

And its not like this show ever pretended to give out a good social message. This is the same show that tried to imply that it is "romantic" for a guy to manhandle a young girl and make her hands bruised and bleeding. That could be highly offensive to someone who's experienced domestic abuse in real life.

A suggestion: remember that this is just a TV serial and Khushi is just a character. Don't take things so literally and seriously. I'm willing to forget the entire last week happened so that I can enjoy the show. If I "hated" either the characters of Arnav or Khushi, I wouldn't be able to enjoy this show. So why bother making sense of the CVs mistakes? I'm going to continue loving the characters (mostly due to the actors) and watching the show without taking it too seriously. It's just entertainment.
