She has been deceaved by Archana for not telling her who ovi and teju are to her. Even her Aaji did not tell her anything. If Archana says that she tells Purvi everything, then really, Archana failed as a mother to Purvi. At the party, Archana's mother very conveniently brushed Purvi's feeling saying that Purvi is a smart girl and she will be okay. K's are taking advantage of Purvi's feelings.

I just hope that Arjun will do the right thing and get Purvi back into his life...get married and then annouce their marriage.
