Part 26

"Mohit was missing you???? " he knew her weak point, that is one name that can melt the layer of stone that she has placed in her heart.

She turned to other side and his work was done. He left.

Geet stayed there for a while, but now that lemon water was in she was in her senses and also she had taken the medicine.

"What have I done again… I should have not done this… Dadima, I need to talk to her"

Ans she went to meed Dadima

"Come, I knew you will be coming… aiyee baithiye"

"Sory dadima, I know whatever I did was wrong"

"No Beta, you do not owe sorry to me…. After what all Maan did with you I have no rights to question any act of yours…. Unkee kernee ke wajah se hamara aape haq jatana bilkul galat hoga.. but you know what worries me…."

She bowed her head down… "Aapka kyun haq nahi hai…… why do you feel guilty dadima, you are my biggest support.. unhone jo bhi kiya for that I don't want to loose you…. Aur galti to hue na mujhse"

"Haan… Geet beta, I always tell you…. Mohit is more important to you, so you should just think about him…. Why do you let hatred for Maan take place above Mohit…. Don't waste your time thinking about Maan just concentrate on Mohit… phir aapse galti hogee hee nahi…."

"Mohit… Dadima Mohit, its only for him I am alive and staying here… phir bhi mujhse…how did I let down my own son… woo depression took toll over me and then all those things started in my mind… main bohut depression me thi and then only someone in party offered drink to me, phir main lete gayee…."

But somewhere deep within, her heart knew she could not seperate herself from Maan.With all he did she wanted to fill her heart with hatred for him and when she felt she was failing in that she did all wrong things to prove her point.

"And why did depression took toll over you"

"From last two weeks I did not take medicine…. Aage se nahi hoga dadima…. Unka gussa dawaii pe"

Dadima then sent her to Mohit and was just admiring a sweet girl in her and feeling guilty of how could her own grandson put her thru so much.

Geet entered the room where Mohit was playing. The moment her son saw her he came running to her. She took him in her arm and hugged him tightly.Tears rolled down her eyes.

Pain ran down her spine realizing the fact that it was actually becase Maan has shown mercy and allowed her to meet her own son. How she had lived each day dying to see her son and he had not allowed. How he have snatched her son from her just after birth and separated her from him, not allowing her to see her own son. It was only his son he had claimed.

Shaking her head she tried not to remember those things and she then planned to spend whole day with her son.

While in Khurana industries head office, Maan was back to office. He was in pain seeing Geet in that condition.

He took out her old picture from his drawer. The picture he had taken her when they lived together in Mumbai…. Thinking of those days smile formed on his face. Those days looked like a dream now. And that dream was real until he himself destroyed his dream world.

"Why I did all this Geet…. Why did I not believe you…. Every time I blamed you for no reason, never listened to you…. Bas apnee manmanee kee aur haq jatata gaya tumpe… I destroyed our beautiful world from my own hand… I know I am a failur per sambhalo na mujhe Geet… I need you Geet, I need you"

Nothing in his eyes but his heart was crying….

"Uss Shadi ke din bhi… when I already knew I made one wrong descision in haste how could I do that mistake again…" He then was lost in the happening of that day

Past: Marriage Day

He was running hystarically with unconscious Geet in his arm not realizing that whole family was running behind him. Only Geet was what he was thinking about and cared about.

He reached the hospital, The hospital was olso one of his charity to Hoshiyarpur.Geet was immediately rushed to emergency. Just after immediate chekup, doctor took her to ICU. Maan had been so nervous.

That time first time he was parying, praying for someone else. All he knew was he wanted Geet back in perfect good health. He had made neumrous promise to God to make Geet well. He was running up and down the alley. All family members were worried and also surprised by Maan's concern for Geet.

But he thought… how that concern could be so short lived as everythin changed when doctor came out and said

"Mr. Khurana… Both of them are doing well. Aaaj bache ne maa ko bacha liya samjho nahi too…"

"Dono… bacha" everyone was super shocked along with Maan.

"Doctor I am here with Geet, aap kiski baat ker rahe hain"

"Ji Geet ke hee…. She is 3 months pregnant and why did she take such step in this condition. She had consumed poision but before poison could start acting she got fainted due to pregnancy."

It was no second thought for Maan…. He knew very well, if Geet was pregnant it was him, no second thought about that at all.

It took him few minutes to register, Geet had his baby but then the second thought was she consumed poison with his baby. All he could thunk was she did this to take revenge from him. He thought and he decided this was the only truth.

He gave verdict "She was poisioning his child just to take revenge from him". He did not even consider that he have to confirm it from her. he had always done this… never hearing her point of view.

He was lost in his thought when he was brought back to real world by shouting of Brij.

"Bachaya kyun usse…. You should have let them both die… pata tha mujhe chut dene se aisa hee kuch hoga…. Pata nahi kis najayaj ko pal rahee thee"

Maan who was already angry on Geet, his anger had roose even high with Brij's word.

He held Brij's collar

"How dare you… bacche ko najayaj kaha tumne…. Take your words back, NOW…." He was MSK, and how could anyone say that to his child. All he knew was Brij was talking about his child.

Then came Rahul….

"Maanji…kya galat keh rahen hain brij veerji…. Don't known with whose child she was and she was trying to give my name to that child…" and now it was rahul's turn. He got a big punch from Maan.

"Tumhare aukad nahi hai uss bachche ko apna naam dene kee"

"It is khurana, my child.. Samjhe aaplog…. Dare anybody talk anything about my child."

Suddenly he got so possessive about his child. Felt he was only saviour of his child. If he will be weak all these people will harm his child and Geet… Geet had already tried to hurt. All his love for her turned into hatred and anger for her…. he did not think once to clarify things with Geet. He had already decided she was wrong and she did it intentionally.

Daarji fainted, with all Maan said. No one knew what to say… their senses were not working. Rahul's family left the hospital.

All broken, her Dad came to Maan "Yeh sab kaise…." And maan in his anger didn't twice think of what will they go thru if he utters the truth.

"Geet and I stayed together in Mumbai…mere ghar pe" his much was enough for them to understand and they did not have guts to hear more. Geet had wanted to save them from this shock, but Maan in pain of his son, no one mattered to him. Their pain was nothing for him infornt of him.

Brij came forward to fight, but Geet's father and tayaji knew better…. They were no match in power with Maan so they held Brij.

Tayaji and her dad kept on thinking while other were lost and broken.

Tayaji then came to Maan :"How will you give name to your son, Maanji"

"I have to marry Geet, there is no other option left…. And I will do it now…" And he went to Geet who had been operated, was all right now but unconscious.

He carried Geet in his arm and brought her out….

"Mandap is all ready… I will marry her now; those who want to come can come."

And he took her to marriage venue and everyone from her family ran after him. Only Brij got busy handling her Daarji.

Maan stooped this low..it is disgusting.I had thought he had learnt from his past mistake but no , he is such an ass..
