Stuck in the Library!
He woke up in the morning, yawning away his sleep and rubbing his eyes. He felt something heavy on his lap, it was the feminine figure who was stuck in the room with him the previous day. She was lying on his lap, deeply engrossed in her slumber.
He remembered how she was having a hard time resting her head on his shoulder and trying to sleep, so he stretched his legs and slowly put her head on his lap, making her comfortable.
He smiled to himself at the memory. She slowly opened her eyes, taking in the surroundings and realizing where she is, she looked at him and quickly sat up feeling awkward.
"Good morning" she wished him, putting her hair back of her ear.
"Morning," he smiled at her awkwardness.
Just then they heard some footsteps approaching the door. it was probably the librarian. They quickly got up staring at the door. Suddenly Khushi felt a hard hand pull her into a hiding.
"What are you doing, Arnav?" she squealed.
"Ssh!" he put his index finger on her glossy lips to quieten her.
She raised an eyebrow waiting for an explanation.
"We can't stand at the door like that", he whispered.
"Why not?" she whispered back.
"Coz then the librarian might think we were together last night, you know, in the wrong sense" he winked at her.
"So what? We did sleep together last night" Khushi blurted out not realizing the meaning of her sentence.
"Ah! You could have said that in a better way Khushi!" he rolled his eyes.
She realized what she just said and looked away embarrassed.
"Uh! I mean we were together last night but we didn't do anything" she didn't look at him while saying this.
"I know we didn't but we can't explain this to him, so we are just going to hide here and then sneak out on getting a chance" he explained while she quietly listened to him.
The door opened with a bang and a guy aged around 40-50ish walked in. They both looked at him from the hiding,
"Okay! So what does the librarian do the moment he enters the library?" she asked herself, keenly observing the guy's every move.
"He goes to the washroom". she answered herself with giving a wide-eyed expression whens he saw the man rushing in to the washroom.
Arnav who was constantly shaking his head and rolling his eyes at her self talk quickly grabbed her hand and sneaked out not giving her a chance to utter a word.
They rushed out of the campus and stood on the street, out of breathe laughing hysterically.
"That was an adventure" she spoke amidst her laughter.
Yeah! I know," he laughed back.
They started walking, smiling at each every now and then.
"Can I ask you something?" he looked at her sliding his hands in his pockets.
"Sure", she crossed her arms.
"You looked upset when you said that we did nothing last night" he looked at her teasingly.
Her eyes were widened and she was shocked, "WHAT?"
"Yeah, did you wanted something to happen between us?" he raised an eyebrow smirking at her.
She gasped, "Jeez! No! NO! Not at all, I didn't mean that, alright!" she shook her head.
"Relax! I am kidding" he chuckled.
"Ugh! I hate you" she hit his arm.
"Ow!" he rubbed his arm slightly, while she giggled.
"Now, buy me a coffee!" she ordered him with her head held high.
"Sure madame!" he obliged.

"So, you don't have a girlfriend, do you?", she sipped her coffee.
"No, I don't", he shook his head.
"Why?" she bit her lower lip.
"Because, you never gave me a chance to ask you out for a date" he winked at her.
"Ah! Come on Arnav, am serious", she rolled her eyes.
"What? I am serious too," he shrugged.
"Whatever!", she sighed and walked away, while he ran up to her to cover the distance.
"Okay! Listen, I had a crush on you but you never got along with me, you always picked up fights with me for god know why, and then I didn't find anyone else as interesting as you are, does it explain everything?" he raised his hands in the air.
Khushi looked at him for a few seconds before bursting into fits of laughter, leaving him puzzled.
"What is so funny?!" he frowned.
"You having a crush on me itself is funny" she was holding her stomach.
"Why do you think so?" he shrugged again.
"Because, we did nothing but fought every time and you say you had a crush on me! How ironical!" she was still laughing.
"You don;t believe me, do you? Alright then!" he threw the coffee and walked away.
"Oops! Am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," she started running behind him.
"I am not hurt!" he screamed not stopping for her.
"Then why are you walking away?" she grabbed his arm and made him face her.
"I'm getting late, I need to go fresh up and then attend the class" he sighed.
"Okay! Am sorry, I didn't saw that coming, and I didn't know how to react, am sorry" she held her ears, pouting at him.
"You know, it is really tough for anyone to be upset with you" he removed her hands from her ears and made her stand straight.
"So, is that an Okay?" she was still pouting.
"Yes, it is" he nodded.
"Alright! See you then" she smiled at him while he frowned.
"You said you are getting late?" she smirked.
"Oh! Yes, I am. Bye then!" he smiled at her.
"Arnav!" she called out to him from behind, making him halt, he turned around and gave her a questioning look.
She came forward and hugged him, much to his surprise.
