Anyway, Turner Broadcasting, which owns Imagine, decided that due to poor TRPs of the channel as a whole, they decided to can the channel. As a result, all the shows that were running on it were terminated. There was some talk about finding an alternate home for Chandragupta Maurya and Preeto, but I have no idea what has come of it.

From 13th onwards, they started showing repeats of shows going back to 2007 - such as Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi, Mein teri parchain hoon, Ramayan, Palkon ki chaon mein, KMH, Jyoti, Bandini and so on. Frankly, I'm surprised that the channel has not gone off the air, and who is it who's re-running them?

Can anyone tell me why Imagine tv is showing repeat series? All the latest serials have stopped.

I moved your post here, where all discussions about Imagine TV's closure are going on.

So you are ~2 weeks behind? See the first link on this thread, and my response above. Essentially, Turner Broadcasting, which owns Imagine TV, pulled the plug on the channel due to poor ratings. On April 12, all shows were sent packing, and after that day, they are showing only re-runs of old shows, until the channel itself loses that frequency.

So all the running shows on the channel have ended wherever they were. There is an online campaign to get Chandragupta Maurya up and running again in another channel - let's see how that goes.

Also, last week, Imagine TV deleted their YouTube channel as well, along w/ some hundreds of videos they had accumulated over time.
