I'm also confused about Indu being so happy seeing Rashmi. Also she would not have insulted mohan like this infront of his mom. She must have kept a good girl image.

Only explanation i can come up with is that Mohan's mom also blames mohan for the break-up. Maybe She too wanted mohan to go with Rashmi to America or join his father's business. Earlier i though She was talking about mohan making wrong choice in Rashmi. I think she must have meant as wrong choice/decision - mohan taking the decision to not budge to Rashmi's wish of moving to America.
