Prophecy timeline

Just something that struck me... The prophecy that trelawny makes predicting the whole "harry being the chosen one" thing.... in it, Trelawny says..." The one with the powerto vanquish the drak lord will be born as the seventh month dies..." keys words for my question WILL BE BORN.... this indicates that at the time trelawny made the prediction, harry wasn't born yet... if my memory serves me right, i think even dumbledore says in Ootp that he heard the prophecy SIXTEEN years before.... in HBP... we learn that snape immediately heard about the prophecy.... consequently... he would undoubtadly have immediately gone to warn voldy.... in that case... how come the attack in godric's hollow took place more than one entire year after this prophecy was made? why did voldy wait until harry was a year old? especially since, if dumbles is right... when he found out that harry and neville were thee 2 kids meant... which was probably soon after they were born... he had already decided that he would pick harry....?

Perhaps he was gaining power, or he couldn't find them (remember, wormtail secret keeper), or maybe he wanted to wait, or maybe he was STILL trying to understand the prophecy coz he was so dumb 😆 😆
