Garima was absolutely right at scolding Kushi..

she was reacting on what she had been witnessing..

Kushi on the other hand was just being herself,

acting on good intentions but ended up unknowingly

hurting Arnav...

I loved todays scene wit Arnav, Garima n buaji ;

it was nice to see Arnav communicating n bonding with them...

HAd not Khushi received love from her maasi's family , she would not be the person today she is .

Khushi's dispostion shows that despite her loss of parent she has lived a happy life with her new family .

So you cannot say she had received nothing from them . Khushi did not become "a girl with a golden heart " without the family's contribution . Garima, and specially Shashi had lots to turn the girl's heart into gold.

Basically Khushi yearns for love from Arnav , therefore everytime Arnav shows that he cares for her she becomes happy . Alas she wants more and moe of it - and hence starts to irritate Arnav.

She just wants to hear that Arnav married her because he loves her . Once Arnav says that she will give her heart and soul to him , forever .

By the way ,Arnavs heart is not made of gold. It is made out of the dark organic human muscles as everyones heart .

su love u for the last lines. i am beginning to recognize the classic su one liners. yes she years for arnav's love. as for the guptas, we know buaji never liked her but now she does. garima? she must have brought her up a a daughter, but failed miserably when it came to her marriage and understanding and appreciating her daughter. they think she is half mad and needs to be tolerated. sashi, as i have said and always have, despite not being blood, has always been so so loving to her from episode 3 till now

Hi Fari -

Garima was right today. I can see every mother react like that when her damaad comes for the first time. This has nothing to do with class - this is cultural. Nani would do the same thing if they didn't have a ghar jamai - but you can also see that Shyam enjoys exalted status in their home too.

That being said - Garima is not off my poop list. She is Khushi's adoptive mother. Kh calls her 'Amma'. When she slapped Khushi and said that she proved that she was not her blood the day of the wedding - it was too much and too harsh - same thing I felt when Buaji said it the first episode. Totally makes me sick how with one hand they say she's their daughter, particularly when she brings home money and the next when she does something they don't like, oh see it's because she's not one of us. The last thing you expect from people who you so desparately want to call your own and sacrifice for, never trying to give them a reason to complain against you because you don't want to jeopardize your place with them. I always felt that this was more cruel than anything a man whom she just came to know said to her.

Garima and Buaji have yet to apologize for it and suppose Kh won't ask for it.
