Here's Why Everyone Likes to Slap Swayum

I am kind of taken aback at the moment, and I cannot even exercise the sentiment outta me now. So, here goes. 😳

Sharon slapped Swayum, that's the awesomest thing she's ever managed to do. Why? I'll tell you. Would you not want to murder someone who looks at you like they know what's going inside your head, would you not wanna beat the living day lights out of someone who involuntarily and effortlessly penetrates the oh-so-strong wall you have managed to build across yourself over all the time? Personally, I will throw such a person down the cliff or something, only, after such a loss, I might as well jump next. It's like, Sharon slaps Swayum and it's something she has always wanted to do, to in-your-face him the best she can for making her so helplessly vulnerable. Sharon still makes no sense, at all, and neither to do I. Therefore, kudos to Sharon! 😳

And then, Rey slaps Swayum, that's the most considerate thing he's ever managed to do. Why? I'll tell you. Would you not try to bring your best friend back to his senses just like he did when you went nuts, would you not start crying seeing your best friend in such an atrociously miserable condition? Personally, well, I have seen my best friend do that for me, so hell yeah. Therefore, kudos to Rey as well!

My point here is, the episode tonight was like an emotional riot. Sharon and Swayum are hurt in a fashion that only togetherness can heal. If that doesn't happen, it won't fit, true story.

Now, I have made a fair few friends and established acquaintances here, so here's my little something for you all, analysis, basically thoughts that won't let me study as long as they are not shared. 🤓

#Do NOT run away from what's for real, buds and all the same, NEVER go looking for what could be real. Sharon knows that Swayum's sentiment for her is all the 'real' she can manage, but she lets her doubt get the better of her. Please dun do that. 😳

#There's nothing greater than buds, real buds. Rey has finally come to see that. You could swoon over the opposite campus all you want, but your friends will come first. And next time, when Rey falls for someone, he won't forget his friends and also, that this new girl needs to be friends with him too. Someone who cries seeing you cry is your real bud, is all I mean. Go figure if you have someone who does that for you, and if you can feel that for someone.

That's it.

Love,
Kankshita

I couldn't agree more. Both the slaps were completely justified. Swayam had seen through Sharon from the very beginning, as if she was made of glass. The wall that she had conjured up had suddenly surrendered to him. It was a natural reaction to be annoyed, to be enraged. I would definitely not want anyone looking into what i don't want to show the world. I would have done the exact same thing.

As for Rey's slap, that was the best thing he could do to make him stop. Being a friend sometimes you have to go to crazy extents to stop the other. I loved that part. The emotions held spoke for themselves. It was beautiful to see such friendship.

Once again a brilliant post Kanks

You know many people in this forum went to comment on how the sentiments lead to the slaps. You, on the other hand, went for a different approach. You gave us the reasons behind those slaps. And I couldn't agree more. You literally managed to put my thoughts into words. And the thoughts you shared are exactly what everyone needs to hear. Accept what's real and in the end real friendship is the only thing that matters the most.

I dun see how I could comment on the actors' performances or even what consequences this might lead Swayum and Sharon to. I was knee-deep in emotion when the episode ended. And honestly, people might say I am a horrible SwaRon fan or something, BUT what I found myself more connected to was Rey's crying than anything else put together. So, yeah, cheers to the D3 writers, for portraying the precise emotions that tug at us. :)

I am stunned 😳 ..really...I never expected Swayum to do this...didn't think he had it in him...i was wrong as well as right. He was not this monster...it's love that turned him into one...He always knew the power he posessed on her...and so does she...and that's what scares her...and her fears came true today. I believed him to be stronger than to use it to break her down. He was violent with her...emotionally...he penetrated her...manipulated her...and then destroyed everything she was...and himself too...devastation only togetherness can heal..so right girl.. The last scene was my favourite...when Rey slapped him...and then hugged him...it was so required. As i say this...I am not too happy with the new promo...with Sharon going back to her 'diva' mode..and Swayum trying to make amends...'tumhari jagah mere pairo me h' ...not impressed 👎🏼 they are supposed to be broken...it just can't go back to square one. For..Sharon is not strong enough to heal herself...and this time even Swayum isn't...

See, the interesting thing about fiction us, anything can healed by anything, you dun need no reason, that is what makes D3 dicey sometimes, albeit if SwaRon go back to normal, it would be like challenging people's intelligence and capability to connect with fiction, or rather, it would be like telling the audiences how foolish they are, and I dun think the writers could do THAT. =]

And Sharon is weak, yes. This time, Swayum's kinda worse or whatever, they are devastated, if they contain the devastation, for all we know, the series of fillers and leading-nowhere, pointless scenes could begin to happen again. But that's just hard to imagine!

And in an episode like this, it's crazy how MY star was Rey, a little thing that tugged at me. :)

I am so glad you see what I am trying to say, Srishti.
It's very fortunate a thing, to actually have people who consider you made of glass, so you know on a rather theatrical level you put, you see they know you could really be the glass kind of fragile, and look after you. Sharon never let that happen, which is exactly why I dun think Swayum crossed any limits. If she can humiliate him like she did, she very well can do the same.

And Rey, uh, he's kinda awesome now, isn't he? Separation from Kria has done him as a character, so much good! And when he starts crying himself in the episode, that's when my crying begins, not before, not after - right then.

An Awesome episode and an equally awesome post.

You are so true in saying, these two are hurt beyond words can explain, and its just that togetherness can heal.

The last part with REYAM was so true and natural, one can very well sense a deep bond of friendship there.

Thank you for the appreciation. 😳

Well yeah, if SwaRon dun unite, I dun see what they would be doing at all. And Rey-Swayum, it was the first time you could see Rey doing stuff for Swayum, like holding on to him, it was so good to watch! =]
