Chapter 2
A lunch and one more class till the end of the day..Geet tapped her pen lightly on her desk waiting for the current class to be over. After this class was lunch..her favorite time of the day where she can eat and watch the only person that she has been watching since she was young. She always have been a very quiet person among the people she didn't know only her best friend Meera and her family members know the real her.
When she gets comfortable with someone then she is a non-stop talking machine. Her heartbeat quickened with each hand movement of the clock..it was almost time for lunch...she started packing her books anticipating the moment when she will see him. The last three hours of the day were her special hours to her, she got to spend time with the one person she loves. She could look at him all day if it was up to her but alas her destiny was not with her..even if she wanted she could never muster up enough courage to talk to him.
As soon as the bell rang, she started walking out of the class with fast heartbeat..she felt like something was going happen today...she was feeling more restless then she usually does at this time. She saw Meera waiting for her at the end of the hallway waving at her..Geet waved back before joining her...
Meera: How was that boring economics class?
Geet: boring as usual. (Geet looks at the cafeteria with nervousness)
Meera (Looks at her and she knew what she was thinking) You know Geet one of these days you got to talk to him...
Geet: me and talk to him? Why would he even talk to me? He has so many pretty girls surrounding him 24/7 why would he pay attention to me?
Meera: Geet you know you are pretty and how he will look at you if you don't talk to him?
Geet: Me and talk to him? You can't be serious...you know if I get even three feet radius from him..I panic let alone talking...you know am okay with looking at him from far away...I have coped with the situation that he will never talk to me or know my existence
Meera (sighs): you are really hopeless sometimes..
Geet (wraps her arms around Meera's shoulder) I know (both laugh as they enter the cafeteria...both stopped in their tracks looking at the sight in front of them...every student was pointing and laughing at Geet. Meera grabs the flyer that everyone was holding in their hands..both look at it shocked...)
"Listen listen everyone..now that our future bride made her entry..."
Geet follows the voice...a girl wearing a mini tight dress steps in front with a smirk holding flyers in her hand...Sameera Chopra the most popular girl in school...with the snap of her fingers boys will do anything for her. She loves power and making people dance on her tunes.
No one dared speak against her in collage and whoever did that would be their last peaceful day in collage. She smirks and stands in front of Geet holding the flyers in her hand..She had two sidekicks, Sasha and Tasha...the evil trios as everyone calls them behind their backs...)
Sameera: Hi Geet...(Geet just looks down...trying to control her tears...) So I found out that you like someone...
Sasha: Yeah...and as friends isn't it our duty to reunite you with the one you love?
Sameera: So we did a little investigation and found out the person you love...after all we are collage friends nah and as a friend it should be my duty to reunite you with the one you love..right friends?
"Right!" (Everyone yells in unison...)
Sameera: So here is the person that Geet loves...a donkey...(she shows the flyers to everyone holding it up above her head...it was a picture of Geet sitting on top of a donkey in the bridal suit) but you know what is sad guys...even the donkey couldn't hold her weight..so it died..(everyone laughs...) but don't worry Geet (she looks at her) we will find you the perfect match...What say friends?
Meera looks at Sameera with anger..she was about to confront her when Geet stops her shaking her head no...both decide to leave the cafeteria...
Tasha: where are you going Geet? Aren't you hungry?
Sasha: Yeah we all are here to celebrate your love and you are leaving us? that is not fair
Sameera: Yeah Geet..and I thought we were friends...here keep this flyer so that you know who would actually love you
She laughs..Geet takes the flyer and runs out of the cafeteria as fast as her legs could take her..she could hear Meera calling her from behind but all that didn't matter right now...she just wanted to go and hide somewhere...hide from this world...her love was disgraced in front of everyone...everyone made fun of her...she stops when she came to a dead end...she was breathing so hard, puts her hand on her chest to control her breathing..she saw her reflection in the trophy glass case...her hair was a mess, her face was covered with tears and sweat...her dupatta was hanging on one shoulder...she looks at the flyer in her hand...
"Maybe no one will marry me...they are right...why would they? what is it about me that will attract others? I am not skinny nor attractive..."
She backs up slowly to run away from the glass image in front of her..she drops the flyer on the floor...as soon as she turned around to run..she collided into someone...she yells when she hits the floor...she opens her eyes to see what she collided with and to her horror she was looking at the very person she was dreading to meet...her crush..
He was right in front of her...so close to her..she immediately backs up when she realized that she was lying on top of him...crushing him with her weight... She picks up her books in a hurry without paying attention and leaves the place.
He stands up stretching his back watching her run ...he shakes his head when he saw his books on the floor..as he was picking up the books he noticed the flyer...he smirks carrying it with him to his next class...
Geet runs outside to the garden crying..."Why does everyone make fun of her? Why can't they get past my weight? Is it that bad to be healthy like this? Why should I have to change for others if they can't expect me for who I am?" She sighs..."Why is it so hard for me to live by what I say?..
Sameera was right...I am nothing but a big ugly person...that no one wants or wants to look at...someone puts a hang on Geet's shoulder..she saw Meera looking at her with a sad face...she sits next to Geet...as soon as she sat down Geet hugs her tight...
Meera: Sshh its okay Geet...
Geet: I can't do this anymore...I am going to quit collage...
Meera (looks at her shocked) what! Are you serious? So you are going to give everyone a chance to talk again and let them know that they have won! (she stands up) You know what Geet..I didn't know I have a coward as a friend...I always thought that one day you will learn to fight against everyone but I was wrong...If you are not going to fight for yourself than I am not going to be your friend anymore...
Geet: Meera listen
Meera: NO! I have always supported you in everything but if you are going to quit from collage and from life than count me out...I will NOT support you in this decision of yours.
She walks away leaving Geet alone in her thoughts...she sits on the bench...she looks at the gate and then back at the college...she had two options: either go back to college where everyone makes fun of her or leave forever forgetting everyone including the person she loves...she got up after making her decision...

So here are my questions for you guys...
1.) Do you guys really think that being fat is unhealthy? Someone who is fat already makes them ugly?
2.) In this fan fic...would you guys rather accept Geet is "fat" or "skinny"???
3.) Also, if someone can create a banner than that would be great!šš³
