Wow what a wonderful episode again!!! totally unexpected. :)
She took care of Anitha with more responsibility and if we can notice, a kind of trust is being established between the two. Anitha considers Gopi as her support...well afterall the person Gopi is, anybody would love her. Nothing much to add to her already beautiful character.
Today Gohem were like typical husband and wife, taking care of each other. Giving explanation when asked for. My views on Gopi, Ahem and their relationship.
Gopi:

She is worried that her hubby is restless, asked him to take rest for a while. But she understood that he is not in a situation to get rest and in thinking mode to what to do next. When he offered her to take rest, she obliged rather unwillingly to leave him alone. Ahem was there to take care for her wife when she was uncomfortable sleeping. He was willing to be there for her all the time if she needs him. Only distance yet to be filled between them is still little shyness that exits between them. but if we go by their nature and status of their physical intimacy, shyness is not unexpected :)

This man amazes me...truly. Such a good husband. After Anitha got admitted to hospital, he never behaved as her ex. He never took any opportunity to go close to her. He was there to ensure that everything is going fine. All the needs of anitha are taken care of by his wife. He just was behaving as if he is helping some girl in distress. I liked the way he trusts his wife for taking care of her. A sense of pride is seen on his face when Anitha asked Gopi to stay with her.
And coming to Ahem giving explanation to Gopi about the fake call.. the scene speaks immensly about their relationship. Gopi for the first tiime questioned Ahem, as a wife. Yes, she felt her husband is not doing correct and hence questioned as it is her right to do so. Old Gopi would have never asked Ahem. Ahem like a typical husband replied to her. Yes, husbands when questioned of their deeds turn defensive and offer explanation that sometimes is rude. but Ahem is not at all rude. He convinced Gopi why he had to fake the phone call very convincingly. He made sure that his wife understand his motive behind lying. I saw the belongingness he has with Gopi in the way he explains everything.
For girls who are not married out their, husbands become more rude and defensive when they are frustrated and asked for explanation. The only ones they vent out their anger is on their wives because they are close to them. It does not mean that they do not love their wives. Its just because they consider their wives as their close friends.

It is building stronger day by day. As ahem rightly pointed, it is one phase of their life that both of them should handle together.
Final note:
Not even once I felt Ahem had feelings otherthan humanity on Anitha. He is guilt ridden and trying to put his best effort to make a girl smile. True gentleman he is :)
