Lovely, and incredibly apt! I think it is from the film Humraaaz, the old film with Sunil Dutt and Raaj Kumar. Is that correct? The heroine, Vimi, looked exactly like a sangamarmar ki moorti, come to think of it. Who wrote these lyrics?
I would help out with the translation, except that I do not know what 'parastish' means, and what can one can for 'qayamat' in this context? The term I have used is very loose. In any case, most of the kashish and nazakat of Urdu poetry is lost in translation, as with most poetry. The metre becomes awkward, and the words stilted.
