Part 25
"Khushi don't worry we are nearly there". He assured her while leading her into a lift with his hands covering her eyes.
"Arnav..what are you up to?" she asked in a high pitched voice.
"You'll see! Now shut up for a few minutes".
She nodded and he led her out of the lift. He took her a few yards forward and opened the door.
"Khushi voila!" he took his hands off her eyes.
Khushi looked around it was a gigantic apartment with all the modern amenities one could imagine.
Khushi looked on shocked and kept looking at the apartment and then at Arnav.
"Arnav...is this yours as well?"
He came closer and took her hand. He opened her fist and placed a set of keys. "Khushi its my first gift to you". Khushi looked at the keys and then at Arnav's face. He was enjoying Khushi's reaction and expressions.
"Arnav did you give such expensive gifts to your previous women?"
Arnav looked on amused. He held her by the waist and she began feeling awkward. "Khushi you're the only one I would ever do this for". She looked into his sincere eyes and then got angry.
"But why? Where I live is not suitable for you anymore so you have to indebt me with this gift? You know I am poor so when you wanted me in your life you had to accept me with all the vices in my life".
"Khushi listen to me.." he tried holding by her shoulders. She pushed his hands back.
"This is me, Arnav Singh Raizada an orphaned poor girl..this is the reason why I didn't want to enter into any relationship with you and I was right..look you already trying to change me".
Arnav began fuming and he held her by the arms tightly. "Khushi shut up! The reason why I gave you this flat is because I saw the state of your rented house and I felt bad for you...I am your boyfriend damn it! Is it wrong of me to think of your well being and safety?"
He turned around and closed his eyes in desperation- it was their first tiff. She felt bad at questioning his motives. She came closer and put her chin on his shoulder from behind.
"Arnav I'm sorry..I just spoke before I thought". He pulled away and she slid her arms around him clutching the keys. "Arnav look we just had our first fight...and I don't want us to fight over petty issues...ab maan bi jao". He stood there motionless. She came around and cupped his face with one hand. He pulled her hand and swung it back angrily. She lost her balance and held on to his shirt. She fell pulling him down on the bed with him. His head fell on top of her heaving breasts. For a little while he could not believe he was so close to her feeling her soft breasts. Arnav forgot that he was meant to be angry with her. He had his hand on her stomach and nuzzled slightly into her chest. By his gentle touch she felt a million butterflies in her stomach racing around. Her breathing went really shallow and her heart began thumping. She felt her hormones racing at the speed of light..she had never experienced this before but she had never been this close to any man. Before Arnav could lose self control he heard her whimper. "Arnav?"
He pulled back from her chest and looked into her innocent eyes. "Aap mujse abi bi naraz hain?" she said while gulping for breath.
He flickered his eyes across her slightly sweaty and nervous face. He shook his head. "Khushi I just want you to be happy that's why I got you this apartment".
She enveloped her arms around his neck still lying down. "I know...but I can't accept it..not now".
Arnav got up knowing he was finding it hard to control his emotions. He gave his hand to Khushi and pulled her up. Khushi placed the keys back in his hand. "Arnav when we are married we will come here whenever we feel like it". Arnav shook his head understanding.
"Khushi I will hold you on to that promise...whenever we feel like getting away we will come here and hide from the rest of the world..I understand your stance...lets forget about it hmmm? Anyway let me drop you off home".

It was 9pm and Sonu and Anjali were cosying up in front of the telly. "You know baby I really find this movie so romantic...I don't know it really makes me in a mushy mood". Sonu looked around irritated he had watched the titanic movie for at least 20 times!
Anjali got close to Sonu and began cuddling him, running her hands up and down his thigh. Sonu took her hand away and pulled back from her. "Not today Anjali I'm a little tired". She got concerned and jumped on the sofa with both feet up.
"Whats wrong Sonu?"
"Nothing just a little tired and I have a real bad headache".
"Shall I massage your head?..it will get better".
He got up and went inside their bedroom. "No Anjali you finish off watching the movie and I will have an early night". He took his mobile and started texting away. It was Sia.
Anjali first looked disappointed then convinced herself he was not well. She watched the movie till the end. At 11pm she came in her bedroom. Sonu shut his mobile and turned around to pretend he was already asleep. She slipped into their bed and gave him a back hug.
"Sonu?" she asked just in case he was not asleep.
"Hmmm?"
"Are you feeling any better?"
"Sort of nothing a good night's sleep can't make better". He turned around and hugged her. "Anjali you know I love you?". She nodded her head. "I know". Both fell asleep soon after.

"Arnav where are you taking me?" she asked noticing they were not heading to her house.
"To my house".
"Your house but why?"
"You have a problem coming to my house?"
"N n nooo...just wondered why you taking me there". Khushi had always felt a bit afraid going to his palace.
He stopped his car and opened the door for Khushi. She came out and he shut the door for her. He asked for her hand and she gave to him. "Khushi from now on you can come and go whenever you want. So no formalities, and no sir sir or Arnavji okay?"
She smiled and nodded. "You know Khushi I bought this house for myself and my sister Anjali. She is the only family I have got. She is my world. I love my sister. You know this house I chose it because of its location- its really peaceful here isn't it?"
"Yes its lovely..."
He stopped walking and looked at Khushi intently. "Khushi why are you looking nervous?"
"N n nothing just your house is so big I feel really patronised by it". He chuckled.
"You mean you're scared of the house or being with me alone?" he asked her with his trademark smirk.
"No I am not scared of you".
"Ya right! Khushi I am ASR for everyone else but for you I am Arnav- only Arnav".
She squeezed his hand tightly and shyly smiled placing her head on his shoulder. "I know".
Arnav showed her round the garden. The garden was maintained by 5 people who were busy cutting the grass. The workers looked at Khushi from far away and made a comment. "Thank god ASR has chosen a decent girl for a change". Another replied. "Well he is a mature now...I think he wants to settle down".
They went inside the house and he showed her the entire world's antique stuff he had collected. Khushi was shocked with the price of every item.
"Arnav I am scared even walking around..what if I accidently break them?"
He cupped her face and tilted his head. "Khushi these things have a price but your priceless to me...so even if you broke them what the hell!". She bit her lip in shyness and looked away.
Both sat down to look at all the albums of him and his sister. Khushi looked and was amazed at what an emotional person he was. She would have never imagined before that he had that much love for anyone. She looked on with awe for the man she fell in love with.
He showed her Anjali'r room. It was all pink and girly. "You know my sister is really smart but naive at times. I do worry for her as she trusts so easily. I can't wait when I tell her about you. She is coming in about a month's time and we will meet her together right?". Khushi nodded happily.
They came near the stairs and he stopped like he had forgotten something. "Uh Khushi? Have you seen that..." Khushi looked the other way and he scooped her into his arms.
"What are you doing? Put me down...someone will see.." she looked around nervously and he grinned sheepishly.
"Na-ah no one is here apart from you and me". He naughtily looked into her eyes. He began walking up the stairs. "You know Khushi when you came into my life I decided, that I will pick you up like this to show you the most special place in my house". She looked at him questioning him.
"Wait darling! You'll see!" he hit her head lightly with his head. He reached his bedroom and twirled her before putting her down. "Here you go-ASR's bedroom and one day it will be yours". She shyly looked around. "I been here before".
"Yeh but not as my girlfriend" he pinched her nose. He pulled her hand and both half laid on the bed. "You know I can't wait to share this room with you". She got up and sat up with hands folded and pouted her lips.
"Well I can! All you're going to do is argue with me and tell me off like you always do ASR".
"And you're going to throw your strop like you usually do"...he teased her. He pulled her back and hugged her. "But Khushiii...tume manane main muje bahut maza aye ga...the making up will be lethal though". He looked at her with a naughty smirk. Her breathing became shallow again seeing his intense drooling eyes. She got up quickly and clutched her duppata.
He slowly got up and took her hand and squeezed it. He bought his lips near her ear and whispered huskily. "Khushi jab tum sharmati ho toh bahut hi pyari lagti ho".
She leaned her head back on his shoulder and began heaving. He slid his arms round her waist. "Arnav.." he turned her around and held her by the hips. His eyes commanded her to look at him and she willingly obliged. "Khushi I really want you to trust me". She looked into his meaningful eyes and cupped his face with both hands and he took her hands and held them. "And that means if you're not comfortable with anything I won't do it.. because I respect you a lot". She had tears in her eyes. She slid her arms around his shoulders and melted into a hug- a hot hug. "Arnav I do trust you"..she whispered near his ears. He broke off slightly and looked at her with an arched eyebrow.
"Oh Really?"..she nodded with a smile. He pulled her into a hug again and began swaying her petite body.
"Arnav muje jaane do ab..."
"Nope your not going anywhere!"
"Why?"
"Cozzz listen..." he placed her head on his heart.
